Games to Watch

Guam Gorillas @ Bay City Bohica

After a big win over the Rockies and then falling short against the Coyotes, the Gorillas regained some of that momentum against Cook Island. Against Bohica they are going to be looking to keep that momentum moving forward and they are going to need to do so with their Defense. Their offense is looking to step up the game this week against a powerhouse defense that is Bay City. Bay City has seemed to have everything going right for them so far this season, offensively and defensively they are among the best in the league, and no one has phased them yet this season. Are they going to get a vicious wake up call this week from Guam or are the Gorillas going to be sent back to the jungle on a second class ride out of Bay City.

Darwin Mud Crabs @ Easter Island Moai

Both Darwin and Easter Island face what may be their first real test this season. Darwin has wiped the floor with the competition they have faced but none of them hold a winning record, Don't let that fool you though, Darwin has the tools needed to put together wins, and they've done what they were suppose to do so far this season, win. Easter Island is in the same boat so to speak, against Perth they dropped their only competitive game, but this week, they face a team that is going to bring their all. Both teams in this game are going to find out where they stand within the league and whether or not their for real or just posers.

Sumatra Sea Hawks @ Rockhampton Norsemen

Sumatra played a great game even in a loss against the Soul Reavers then went on to defeat one of the best teams in Zeta, the Port Royal Predators. This team is for real, and they've proven that. Heck they don't have a top 10 Offense for nothing. They're looking to keep that rolling this week led by John Mazo. Rockhampton has had a very tough schedule, you may look at them and think 1-2, why are they a featured team. Because they may have had the TOUGHEST schedule so far of anyone in the league. They were able to pull out a nailbiter against Orangefield and they could pull out another one against Sumatra, their offensive side of the ball obviously needs to step it up but it could happen this week against Sumatra. With Rockhampton involved this gets my "Underrated Underdog of the week vote".

Newcastle Ghosts @ Orangefield Jackrabbits

The Ghosts are another team of mystery, an up and down season so far against those who have been questioned, dropping the one game that everyone knows is for real and bouncing back against an underachiever. This week they have to put it all together to face a team in Orangefield that has proven they are for real. Orangefield may have dropped a game to Rockhampton but they also beat to stiff competitors, they've been on a roll since OA4, and they are going to look to keep that going this week. This game gets my "Balanced game of the Week" vote.

*Game of the Week*

Melbourne Gators @ Endzone Warriors

Two Powerhouses of Zeta, 1 game. Does it get any better? EW has proven their stance and have faced stiff competitors and won nailbiters each week after completely destroying the Robot-like Heard Island. Meblourne dropped just 1 game this season and responded with a gator-like bite. They've ripped through the competition and have been doing it since OA4. Everyone knows what this team brings to the table and if you let down your guard they're going to swing that mighty tail and break your legs out from underneath you. Which team will claim their spot in Zeta, can EW remain on top? Or with the Gators knock the current kings from their throne? If you miss it, its your loss!

the moai is representing again. after an "issue" that kept us out of the championship last season. and a wierd 1st game this season, we are back and ready to play some football.

good game mud crabs!

just imagine if we didnt have 50 chemistry lol

also, dont count out Vanuatu Reef Raiders when you said the moai havent faced any competition, they started 0-3, but they also played 3 great teams to start and kept them close. I wouldnt expect too many more losses out of them.
