Looks like teams have shaken the rust off of the long, off season & are starting to lay some
hurting on each other. So let us take a week at the week 3 match ups & who is going to the ER.

1 Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders 2-0-0 at Schiffertown Griffin's 0-2-0 (27) (+30)
The Chronic Crusaders have been running their swords through the competition so far,
with the I-tallian Stallions being their best match up so far. This week, they put in
the practice squad against the lethargic CPU Griffin's.
The Score: Amsterdam 255-0
The Final: Amsterdam 223-0
The Relook: Yeah, shocker. Move along you lookie-loos.

2 Milan Cock Fighters 2-0-0 at 5 Olympus Immortals 2-0-0
Milan has had 2 bye weeks with Wins over the Southampton Stags & Schiffertown Griffin's.
Hopefully, they came up with their gameplan because the Immortals have true to their
name with dominate showings against Edinburgh & Douai.
The Score: Milan 9 - Olympus 47
The Final: Milan 35 - Olympus 49
Postgame report with Skoll Wolfrun, 777 Sports. Brought to you by Sham-why, 'Got a spill
that you don't want to both with, get Sham-why! It doesn't soak up crap!' I am with
Milan Game Cock Owner/Coach CoachRay. CoachRay, you put together 35 points against a
heavily favored Olympus Immortal team. What to you attest your high end result to?
CoachRay: Well, our D came up hugh here. They executed well with only a few
poor tacklers, forced 3 fumbles & even helped the Offense with a fumble return. If our
O line could have given QBs Green Arrow & Deep Ballz more time, we may have pulled an
upset.

4 Icelandic Vikings 2-0-0 at 3 Bavarian Motor Works 2-0-0
The Vikings had a very good showing over the Passion Fruits & The Evil Empire.
Bavarian Motor Works has been a finely tuned engine this season, coming up with a nice
with over Ruhr Stahl-Manner & rolling up the score at El Campo. Warm up the TiVo, as
this is going to be my #1 Game of the Week.
The Score: Icelandic 28 - BMW 27
The Final: Icelandic 34 - BMW 45
Recap: This is a very impressive game, 34/35 going into the 4th period. BMW
gets their 2nd wind & makes a drive into the Promised land. Their D turns around &
stops the Vikes on 4 straight plays. The car guys give the rock back to QB Crazy
"Cooter" Davenport & he makes like Mario Andretti to open the game to the final
of 34-45.

13 The Forsaken 0-2-0 at 6 London Rippers 2-0-0
The Forsaken has had a pair of disappointing loses that have looked much closer than
the final score has shown. This week, they travel to Whitechapel, the site of Ripper
Stadium, home to the potent London Rippers. London has racked up their wins with a
scoring by team effort. This is going to be my #2 Game of the Week.
The Score: Forsaken 26 - London 32
The Final: Forsaken 13 - London 17
Recap: I expected more from these 2 Offenses, but some solid D on by both
teams kept the punters busy. Key TDs were passes by Shane "The Scab" Falco to No Face Killa
& Bo "Diddley" Jackson for the Rippers. The Forsaken had JoRyan Thomas rush for the lone
TD. That made for a 13-14 1st half. Kaapo Koppi came up with a timely Interception for
The Forsaken late in the 3rd period, in the shadows of their own goal posts at the 10.

14 Palmer Moose 0-2-0 at 7 The Diamond Crusaders 2-0-0
The Diamond Crusaders have been consistant so far this season, rolling up 29 pts in
both of their games this season. I see their levels will continue that streak over
the struggline Palmer Moose, that have been having problems slowing other teams &
moving the ball into the endzone.
The Score: Palmer Moose 9 - Crusaders 35
The Final: Palmer Moose 7 - Diamond Crusaders 48
Recap: The Diamond Crusaders came out strong. Rushing for 383, passing for
282, with no INTs or Fumbles.

11 Douai Sharks 0-2-0 at 8 Regensburg Steel Rain 1-1-0
Regensburg lost their first game in a nail biter to the Roman Legionnaires & then
tallied a dominating game over the Moose, this week they have the Douai Sharks coming
into Donner-Kuppel Stadium. While the Sharks have some glimmers of Offense this season,
their D has had trouble stopping the run.
The Score: Douai Sharks 30 - Steel Rain 40
The Final: Douai 20 - Steel Rain 26
Recap: Another pair of Defenses that came up big here. Regensburg got a
ton of pressure on Douai Shark QB Jon Utah with 10 hurries & 2 sacks. But he was
still able to put 2 into the endzone. Regensburg was able to make the difference with
K Grego 'The Greek' Girth.
Postgame Interview brought to you by HEAD. Feeling pressure? Relieve it with some HEAD.
Skoll Wolfrun: Grego Girth, you went 4 of 5 today, knocking 1 from over 50 yards.
How do you feel about your performance today.
Grego Girth: I kick the bowl.
SW: Yes, but how do you feel?
Grego Girth: I kick the bowl.
SW: Um, yeah. Someone get this guy some HEAD.
Grego Girth: I LOVE GETTING HEAD!

9 Italian Stallions 1-1-0 at 15 El Campo Ricebirds 0-2-0
The Stallions came up big in week 1, posting a close win over the Alpha conference
Atom Bombs. Week 2 saw them face a dominating Amsterdam D. This week, they travel to
El Campo to face the Ricebirds. The 'Birds have had some pains on both sides of the
ball & I don't see the Stallions letting up enough to let them do much.
The Score: Stallions 100 - Ricebirds 9
The Final: Stallions 121 - Ricebirds 10
Recap: No surprises here.

10 Frankfurt Thundercats 0-2-0 at 12 The Evil Empire 0-2-0
The Thundercats ride The Tractor Beam momo-rail into The Death Star to face The Evil
Empire this week. After coming up short to Manchester & London, Frankfurt will need
some help from their D & a timely turnover to help them. The Empire has been meeting
some strong resistance this season with less than stellar showing at Iceland & hosting
København in week 1. Both teams look to be on the cusp of breaking their season open.
The Score: Thundercats 27 - Empire 30
The Final: Thundercats 16 - Empire 13
Recap: Well, it looks like another game got cut in half by the defenses. Both
teams appeared to be able to move the ball from time to time but not able to put the
finishing touches on the drives. 5 FGs through 3 periods, the 2 teams traded TDs into
the 4th & then Patrick Bateman V.P. narrowly missed the game tying FS with 1:03 left
on the clock.
