Good Game Phooeys, way to take control of the 3rd quarter!

For this week, I predict nothing! It was good to see some nice league balance this week in terms of game surprises putting me at a sub 50% or worse. Lots of head scratchers this week with the pretenders being exposed and underachievers actually showing up. Should be fun from here on out for the rest of the wild wacky season.

The few things that I know:
Tokyo Kamikaze and Vanautu Headhunters are in a two team race for their conference, no one else is close to good enough.
Karawang is the best team in the league, sorry everyone else. Perhaps you'll catch them on a day where they don't game plan and have a chance, but I doubt it.

You got us this time with your D but I expect us to see you again in the playoffs.

One game at a time - and hopefully we make it to the finals.

The sad part is Karawang probably didn't even game plan and still shut you out. Not knocking your team, I think Karawang is just that good and I am not looking forward to playing them.

Truth be told, our D bailed us out this time - we are very much looking forward to playing you guys again.

You are right with your comment when it comes to our D - no changes there. I imported an old Offense AI and it nearly went wrong lol

I don't want to take anything away from Bangkok though, they played a very tough game and are a credit to the conference and league.

Tokyo having a bad day doesn't make you good. Your team is definitely in the top 3 or 4 of your conference, which isn't saying a lot, but I don't see you guys beating Vanautu or Tokyo, you were only in this game because you jacked hail marys up to Woody Forrest for 3 TDs. Tokyo adjusts to that next game and you guys get nothing, but field goals.

Padang vs Vietnam (I'm still shocked by Padang's loss to Hanoi, did the gms go on vacation? Vietnam hasn't shown much despite an impressive paper roster and Padang relies on exceptional game planning for victories, I'll go with Padang under the assumption management is still playing)

Phooeys vs Sumatra (If Sumatra can stop the run, their secondary can hold their own. Low scoring game will keep them close, but Phooeys will prove to much...?)

Shaolin over the Hokies (I still don't know what to make of either of these teams)

Haiphong vs Hanoi (I can't put my finger on either of these teams, Haiphong is solid, but lost to a team I thought they would beat and then Hanoi comes out after two embarrassing losses against what look like common opponents to beat the great Padang Orangutans? Any comment from the Padang folks?)

Bangalore over Bangkok Beatdown (Two other teams I can't put my finger on due to their level of competition. Bangkok played Karawang the best of any team yet, but they also didn't do well against Wuhan.)

Im mystified at Padang losing. Tony and Hitman havent been on the forums recently - this one and the Real SEA AA4 forum (PM me for an invite) - so I dont know if theyre selling the team or if theyve just had shit weeks at work.

Our loss - well Shaghai have always given us problems (were 2-2 all time against them and on paper we should be 4-0) and their HB breaking 38 tackles against our almost unbeatable run D was shocking. Not sure what happened as our LBs are built well and all have 50+ tackling and 55+ strength and play on wrap-up....

Yeah, my boy Turk has been playing around with the AI in every game we played trying to find a good balance. something that will get resolved soon, believe me. Then there will be some fireworks going off. I think with the influx of so many new faces causing our chemistry to be so low, kind of helps with sporadic game play on our half, or it could just totally be all on messing around with the AI. We were actually shell shocked to see how close this game ended up being, so yeah, there will be more adjustments made again.
