Skoll Wolfrun, 777 Sports:
After all the promotion & relegation, WE A1 looks to be one of the most balanced leagues around. So let's take a look at the over, under, & the sideways to Week 1 of the new season.
Palmer Moose (51) vs Parma Panthers (54)
The Moose put up 6,336 through the air in A1 last season.
Parma took the BBB2 Alpha Conference Championship using a very
balance attack offensively & a stifling D that only gave up 4000.
Projection: Moose 34-Panthers 44
FINAL: Moose 13 - Parma 105
Douai Sharks (54) at Kaiserslautern Red Devils (54)
Douai sported a solid rushing game in A1 last season, tallying
just over 5,000 yards. The Red Devils used an impressive O that
put 4000 rushing & 5000 passing yards together. This will be a
Defensive Coordinators nightmare for both teams.
Projection:Douai 48-Kaiserlautern 55 OT
FINAL: Douai 33 - Kaiserslautern 50
El Campo Ricebirds (48) at Stockholm Black Death (51)
El Camp appeared to be a standard all around in Season 7, posting a
good offense of 5600 yards & defense giving up 6900 yards.
SBD was BBB1 Champs of Season 7 sporting one of the best Defenses
come playoffs.
Projection: Ricebirds 31- SBD 47
FINAL: El Campo 3 - SBC 94
Milan Cock Fighters (51) at Southampton Stags (21)
Milan shows a good passing game of 6400 yrd in Season 7 A1.

15,000 total yards.
Projection: Milan 65-Stags 24
FINAL: Milan 143 - Stags 0
Schiffertown Griffin's (27) host East Cairo Argonauts (51)
I really can not put into words the sadness that a team with 1
player being the Owners & a ton of CPUs vs a solid ECA team has to
meet in week 1. Take that crap to BBB, please.
Projection:Griffins 0-ECA 100+
FINAL: Griffins 0 - ECA 119
Icelandic Vikings (54) at Passion Fruits (54)
The Vikings sported an able bodied offensive rushing game, putting
forth 5400 yards on the ground.
The Passion Fruits had one of the most stifling Ds in BBB giving up
a measly 3700 yards.
This will be a solid game of potent O vs crushing D.
Projection:Vikings 32-Fruits 24
FINAL: Vikings 45 - Fruits 3
Italian Stallions (54) at Atom Bombs (54)
The stallions were the #1 O in BBB1 last season, putting together
11,000 offensive yards
The Bombs were more than respectable both offensively, with 8500
yards, & defensively, with 5100 yards given up.
Will the Bombs be able to slow the Stallions' charge?
Projection:Stallions 49-Bombs 33
FINAL: Stallions 27 - Bombs 23
Skoll Wolfrun reporting. Post game interview with Jug Head Jones,
Jug Head...going into the 4th quarter, down by 10. How did you come back?
Jug Head Jones: Well, Vernoica & Betty came to the sidelines &
said, I don't start playing good they are not going to go down on me
tonight. So I figured I start playing or I am going to be rubbin' my
Archie.
Skoll Wolfrun: 4th quarter stats shows Jug Head Jones went 11/13
& a timely Interception by CB Trooper Wolfe with only 1:21 left on the
clock & the Bombs looking at 4 plays from the 11 yard line clinches the
game.
The Evil Empire host København Hühnerfalken (57)
The solid #1 BBB1 defense of Evil Empire meets the fast striking #3
offense of København. This will be another exciting game.
Projection:Empire 24-København 34
FINAL: Emprite 13 - København 38
London Rippers (51) host Stalingrad Snipers (51)
The 'over achieving' Rippers were a couple plays from the BBB1 Champ
Cup in Season 7. Stalingrad put together a fairly good Season 7
on both sides of the ball, 5500/7000 respectively.
Projection:Rippers 42-Snipers 30
FINAL: Rippers 34 - Snipers 28
Skoll Wolfrun reporting.Down 15 at the half, the London Rippers
came out of the locker room with their Defense drawing a line in the
grass. Giving up 44 yards in the 3rd period & . This allowed QB Shane
Falco to go 149 yrds & 2 TDs & HB Ty Ingram put up an additional TD.
The timely interception by Samuel Lossin, with 30 seconds, stopped the
Snipers from trying for a last minute score.
Shane, how did you feel on those scoring drives?
Shane 'The Scab' Falco: EXCELLENT, (/airguitar) oh, sorry, wrong
movie. Dude, it was, like, an awesome mix of, like, excellence &, like,
execution. Right up until, like, Morpheus tells me I am the one. That was
sort of a bummer dude. Then I died, but I beat Death at checkers &, like,
Twister & stuff. EXCELLENT (/airguitar),
Skoll: Back to the studio
Shane: and then I led these inner city kids to their baseball...
Amsterdam Chronic Crusaders (57) host Portugal Bull Riders (18)
Amsterdam was a solid 14 ranked O & D in season 7. Portugal is just
underwhelming with a bevy of levels 1-4
Projection:Crusaders 255-Bull Riders 0
FINAL: Crusaders 255 - Portugal 0
Frankfurt Thundercats (51) at Manchester Spartans (54)
Frankfurt was sporting an able offense with 7300 yards, but were
somewhat lacking the D to compete with 6719 yards given up.
Manchester was able to grind out 8400 offensive yards & held opponents
to 4800.
Projection:Thundercats 39- Spartans 58
FINAL: Frankfurt 39 - Manchester 51
Olympus Immortals (54) host Edinburgh Union Jacks (51)
2 similar offenses (7600 & 7000) from season 7 face off here, but
Edinburgh sports a solid D that gave up a mere 3700 yards.
Projection:Olympus 27- Edinburgh 37
FINAL: Olympus 37 - Edinburgh 9
The Forsaken (54) at Torpedo Cowthorpe(54)
The Forsaken is another #1 D from BBB in season 7, but they also sport
a solid #3 O to back it up.
The Thorps was solid in Season 7, meeting up with NBK in the 1st
playoff round was one of their only real issue as they could move the
ball (8275 yards) & turn back almost any offense (4518 yrds given up).
Projection:Forsaken 33- Cowthorpe 27
FINAL: Forsaken 13 - Cowthorpe 23
Bavarian Motor Works (51) host Ruhr Stahl-Männer (51)
BMW's #3 Passing attack in season 7 can strike fast, hard, & often.
Stahl-Männer was able to move the ball well, but was somewhat middling
defensively. The jury is out on this one for me...
Projection:BMW 49-RSM 33
FINAL: BMW 35 - RSM 16
The Diamond Crusaders (57) host Ingolstadt Hat Tossers(54)
The Crusaders had a good D, but they may not have the O to put the
point up on the scoreboard
Ingolstadt has the #4 D & #8 O of BBB1 last season, so you know they
can bring the pain.
Projection:Crusaders 32- Tossers 36
FINAL: Crusaders 29 - Tossers 6
Regensburg Steel Rain (54) host Roman Legionnaires (54)
The Steel Rain & Legionnaires may be roughly equal on paper, but the
Rain may have a few chinks in the Defensive armor as they gave up
almost as many yards on D as they tallied on O through season 7.
The Legion was able to stretch the field Offensively while cutting
the opposition to half the yardage.
Projection:Steel Rain 35- Legionnaires 47
FINAL: Regensburg 30- Legionnaires 35
