Who will get them in our league?

Everyone has a shot, it's just that the guys who acquired more fame, have more of a chance.
Here's hoping everyone has a lucky lottery ticket.

I think this is something a lot of people have overlooked. It's just a lottery with those having high fame getting a higher probability of winning the lottery. It's still random, anyone could get it.

Guys, I don't get this at all. Let's take QB for example. Now we all know that in the real world, which is what this game "attempts" to mimic, good QB's get TON's of endorsement deals. So why is it that none of the league leading QB's got any of these deals? I'm not pissed (yet), because I'm completely confused by this.

It is just a lottery. More fame just means you got more 'tickets' to win.

I think he's saying he disagrees with the way fame works as a lottery. I would have to agree. A lottery for fame doesn't make much sense if we are trying to mimic RL.
Our backup QB got an endorsement...of course most the guys on our team were and are outside of our suggested levels, hopefully we'll be up here next season and not have to worry about that anymore

Quite frankly, it's pretty dumb. I wouldn't mind if the top 3, 5, or 10 receivers were thrown in a hat and one name got pulled out for an endorsement, but backup FS? The total randomness associated with these awards is about as far from realism as you can get. No offense to the Bar Stars player, but a backup FS may get a local endorsement from a small business if he's a crowd favorite special teamer. Nationally, he's not going to get a thing and yet here we are adding this kind of thing to the game while there are so many other things Bort's time would be better spent on.
edit, the WR was an example, I meant you could do that for every stat leader, sacks, rushing, receiving, pass yards, etc. Then maybe award those players lottery tickets based on 'fame' if you want to make it count for something.

To counter that point, here is what I would say.
Teams would just try to run or throw to a certain player to get them the high stats to get the Endorsements. Also, with rampant guttings and slowbuild team, Whoever plays the more bad teams, would get the better stats and endorsements.

I can see your point, but it's not terribly realistic either. We went for avoidance of exploiting this over realism clearly.
