First of all I have to give credit to geodbdrunk01 because I honestly probably would have been too lazy to figure out the matchups before gameday. Anyway with that said hopefully this will be another fun season and from the looks of it there are a lot of great teams out there and it should be highly competitive.

Breakdown of wins:
Elephant Conference-11 Lion Conference-5.
I can see a couple games going either way, but I think Elephant is the stronger conference again this year.

Bamako Bite at Tanzania Eagles
Tanzania appears to be set on tanking this year because they traded away a lot of their good players for cash. They should get beat up on all season and week 1 will be no exception. Bamako got a lucky draw this week I guess!
Bamako- 45 Tanzania-10

Brazzaville Borts at Rwanda Riot
This should be a great game. Brazzaville will need to try to establish their running game I think since Rwanda has a tough pass defense. It’s a coinflip, but I’m going with Rwanda in this one with a big game by Imya Huckleberry with 2 TDs!
Rwanda-35 Brazzaville-28

Michigan Nation at Gabon Panthers
Michigan really appears to have been busy this offseaso and picked up a lot of high level players. Their chemistry is a bit low due to this, but they should be contenders for the championship when all is said and done. Although high levels aren’t everything, who knows what all the builds look like. Anyway I think Michigan wins this one by 10+ as Gabon defense will struggle in the second half.
Michigan-28 Gabon-14

Suez Sultans at Zimbabwe Bulls
I like the Zimbabwe Bulls in this one with their high powered passing offense. QUINCY MCDONALD should be a force to be reckoned with this season in the Lion conference.
Zimbabwe-35 Suez-24

Algeria Desert Foxes at Egyptian War Gods
Algeria seemed to think they could turn it around last season but never really did. I think they have improved since then, but not enough to take down one of the top 8 teams in the Elephant conference. Egypt will win this one by 14+
Egypt-31 Algeria-17

Warri Dela Warriors at Strong Badia Tires
I don’t really know too much about either of these two teams. Strong Badia might look better on paper, but I think they need to figure out their offense quick in order to win this one. This one could go either way, but I’m going to give Warri the edge because they won the Elephant Conference in Africa A #8 last season, so they must know what they are doing and have solid gameplanning.
Warri-17 Strong-10

Mauritius Mountain Lions at Impending Doom
I like Mauritius in this one because Impending Doom appears to have a one-dimensional offense. They pretty much have to run the ball so Mauritius be able to focus on shutting that down and making them throw. When they do throw they will have a hard time getting it by Akira Minamoto who should have another spectacular season this year.
Mauritius-42 Impending-10

Jupiter Dolphins* at Cardiff Cobras
This is a very interesting matchup between two of the best teams in the league. I really don’t know how it will turn out. Week 1 is always tough because you don’t have much to gameplan off and might not have adjusted to all the changes yet. If anyone read my predictions last year you’ll understand I have no choice but to pick Jupiter!
Jupiter-34 Cardiff-24

BCS Bustin Broncos at Bumba Dambala
Have fun Bumba this week. Hopefully BCS can manage a field goal to keep things interesting!
Bumba-149 BCS-3

Freetown Jayhawks at Rosetta Stone
Gotta go with my Jayhawks in this one. Should be a fairly good game though.
Freetown-31 Rosetta-14

Huambo Hermaphrodites at Uganda Crowned Cranes
Even though Huambo is a one man show I can’t pick against the Uganda Crowned Cranes! Sure they let me down a few times last season when I picked them, but they’ve still been a fun underdog to cheer for.
Uganda-24 Huambo-21

Angola Wave at Sahara Sand Monsters
Angola and Sahara both look to have solid squads this season. This game should come down to the wire, but I’m going to give the edge to Angola because they have a better overall team. Look for a big game out of Angola’s pass rushers, especially Da Baron Von Raske.
Angola-27 Sahara-13

Kenya’s Blood Leopards at Lethoso Rollers
Lethoso finished last season out really strong. Fortunately for them they get an easy game in week one. However the next three games will be more challenging. Anyway this one shouldn’t be very exciting as the Rollers win by 17+.
Lethoso-28 Kenya- 10

Midnight Rockers at Zulu Brotherhood
Well it appears Zulu decided to gut their team so this one should be boring. Always sucks that there are teams that inflate the league stats, but that’s the nature of the GLB system I guess. Midnight should get to 100 in this one.
Midnight-102 Zulu-3

Swaziland Dachshunds at P-Town Ballaz
I have no idea what P-town is doing with all the CPUs at the WR and CB spot and in other positions. However they should probably still be strong enough to win with their running game in this one. But the CPU plan will probably be their downfall against better teams.
P-Town-35 Swaziland-27

Zimbabwe Rebels at Savanna Pride
This one should be a high scoring game with Colby Cook and Milton Washington of Savanna having a huge game. The Rebels counter that with a strong pass rush defense and pretty good secondary. I think Savanna’s strong running game will pull through in the end though.
Savanna-42 Zimbabwe-35

Good write-up Stonewall... I agree with most of them and the ones where we differ it was pretty close in my mind.

I don't see why you think P-Town will be winning with those CPUs, but I do appreciate you taking the time to do this.

Well that was the one I was least sure about. Looking back I think I looked at the overall bars wrong, but too late now! I know CPU WR can be okay so their offense might not struggle that much especially if they go run heavy. To be fair they only have 1 CPU in the starting lineup and I expect they will put their CPU's on special teams for the most part and keep their starters in all game. Their pass defense will be very suspect anyway though so they will probably lose unless they score almost every possession.

Rosetta's well aware we're gonna be outmatched most of this season, but damnit, we're gonna try!
Thanks Paul... Freetown's a solid club... the schedule makers sure didn't do us any favors with our first real game of our AA4 careers.

You guys will be an excellent way for us to gauge how our team has come along.

But in all honesty, Stonewall.. Foxes are making the playoff push this season. It's happening. End of story. Goddamnit, if it means taking one of our NT's (who were in a battle for the starting position) and putting them at the G position... so be it.

Excellent job! You better call the Waambulance after we play Lethoso.... its going to hurt us a bit. Levels will mean everything in this game and we just hope to compete and keep it interesting.
