Greetings once again, appears I may be flying solo since jmarter has been promoted to AAA. For those not familiar with the swinter power rankings, all based on statistical performance, no opinion, or wet thumb approach. Argue them as you will, that's why I post them. Teams that played a patsy, will appear better than they are, and teams that had tough opponents may appear weaker than they are for the first couple of games.

Have fun. If anyone else has one their working on we can post here and average together to get a combined ranking.

Enjoy.

Always good when you get an easy first game, ha. These kind of rankings are better in the long run because bias won't exist.

funny how a team that lost is ranked ahead of a team that beat them! Awesome computer rankings!!!! I'll take the Wet Thumb approach!

Yeah, the Death Squad beat Palembang Tigers today but yet they're ranked 7? Thanks for taking the time to post the rankings.

We beat Lea Lea in the Scrimm, and again on day 1. So how can they be ranked 10 and we are 22, I'm not saying we are top 10 but at least drop them a bit, cmon.

Everyone that follows these knows things are squirrely the first few games. I agree that Burma had a nice victory there and is definitely better than their Week 1 ranking. Pack is clearly better than 20 despite loss, Samurai better than 19, Hell Valley better than 15, etc.

I think Sumatra is the team to beat, but Naga is solid 1-10. In Garuda, the Pack loss surprised me. Lea Lea will still be tough down there, but I don't pay too much attention down there until playoff time. I'm hoping we have to worry about it then

I just wish swinter would keep the Frogs out of the top 10, too.

Only problem with rankings is DD's team isn't 3nd to last, in front of the CPU teams.

i like these rankings much better. Swinter has proven to be a sufficient "Power Ranker" as proven from the rankings from last year and where everybody finished.

I think we played the top team. Sumatra will no undoubtedly be the top team this season. I hope by the time the season ends we are in the top half.

yes the rankings are off a little at the beginning of the season but they get better as the season progresses...swinter did a great job with this last season and has done it before in SEA A#1 before...now no disrespect to you tripr6 but the preseason was WAY OFF
