Tier One
Liverpool Outlaws
The Outlaws are the legitimate power in this conference. Recently given a #1 overall seed in the annual EEA Tournament, the Outlaws are looking sharp. With offensive and well as defensive prowess, and the addition of the Helsinki Devil's former owner Johnny Patches as a strength and conditioning coach, it'll be hard to top the gang from Liverpool.
Portland Niners
Niners are sitting pretty good on a decent schedule. Only a few teams below them will really give them any trouble. With a powerful offense, Portland will put up a lot of points; it's up to their defense to make or break the team's season.
Tallinn Nightmare
The real strength in this team might be their quarterback. Jeebs had a 120 or so QB rating last season, and is only on the first part of what might be a massive upswing. They also have a strong front two, so look for a 4-3 defense that will stop the run cold.
Tier Two
Pecs of Steel
Pecs have been bouncing in A for a little while, and I suspect they might have their eye set on the prize this season. They'll be in the playoff picture because of their depth, but they'll be outclassed by other team's starters. Look for them to maybe have a strong fourth quarter attack.
Saratov Blaze
Also original members of EEA4, and still here. They have a huge stadium, and some money to toss around, which makes them candidates for late-season acquisitions that could power their now decent team into the upper tier. If not, they'll be stuck in another season of mediocrity
.
Birmingham Bulldogs
Just in the second tier, the league really thins out. The Bulldogs are not a legitimate contender this season, but stand a chance in at least making it into the second round of the playoffs. If they can acquire a little more talent, they might even make it a decent season.
