Let's get to know your team a little better.

Sopron Stars, I inherited way back in season 2. It was a gutted team, filled with CPU's. As I got the hang of how the game worked, I brought players on, and a GM here and there.

Most of our players have been here for many seasons, and have seen the team lose many games, and now.....win many. This includes one of current GM's ReaperSeven, who has helped the team tremendously thruout the "years"

I'm proud of the team, and feel good about doing it the "hard way" Once the capped leagues started, and then when everyone got word of what "perfect builds" were, it was all too easy to start winning right off the bat for most.

So what's your team's story and history?

Ofdensen's Army

-got the team by accident last season....signed up for a team thinking I wouldnt get one until this offseason but somehow snuck in the door and got a BBB expansion team
-recruited everyone within 2 days
-turned basic AI and coasted through the regular season
-turned Advanced AI in the offseason and won the league title
-got promoted to EE A#5 where I met a person who seems to be bragging for losing for an extended period of time
-will likely be in EE AA next season or for sure season 9

Athens Olympians

- Got an expansion team last season as insurance for the Saturday Morning Dream Team me and 3 friends have. In case we got screwed and got an non-13 league cap team.
- Decided rather than selling back, I'd roll with it
- Did all recruiting myself, and OC and DC
- Won it all last year
- Hoping to rinse and repeat this year.

Crete Minotaurs

Got the expansion team a few seasons ago after thinking I would remain on the wait list. I had to scramble to put a team together and made some rookie mistakes regarding contract amounts and bonuses. Things are going better now that we have a solid core of players who are loyal to us.

Warsaw Sabotage

This is our 3rd season

When I got the team it was completely gutted and already in EEA5.
1st Year (5-11) - Had no clue what I was doing
2nd Year (7-9) - Improved a lot on the Owner side of the team, missed playoffs by one game.
3rd Year (?-?) - Should be a decent season....

Everett Wildcats

this is our 4th season

the team was gutted when i received it

i made a newb mistake traded for every player i had made playoffs next season couldnt afford roster so went slowbuild decided to try and win last year i had made playoffs this season couldnt afford roster so went slowbuild for the last time

Bratislava Zabijaks

This is our first season in EE A #5... We got promoted last season from BBB #9 (I think).

Anyway, our owner went AWOL, I PM'ed support furiously, and I managed to get ownership of the team transferred over to me.
Team is basically run by myself (owner) and our hardworking GM - Landryslegacy

As a first time owner I think I blew my wad on early ticket sales and am slowly figuring out this pricing thing. We've been desperately trying to recruit in the off-season... but getting FA CB's and WR's seems to be about as easy watching paint dry (send out thousands of offers and then cry as they're not even read)

We had a strong run in BBB last year and are hoping to consolidate our finances this season and prepare for a strong season 9.

I'm pretty sure we played against Athens Olympians last year (and went 1-1 against them - despite being horrendously outgained in overall yardage).

Zabijak means "killer" in slovakian - the language of the pristine riverside city of Bratsilava. We play at "The Green Mile" where we unceremoniously lay out the dead after each game.... (hopefully they're not ours)

Rammstein Rampage (the real ones)

This is a team we originally made to be a feeder to our Austin Titans team, but feeder teams really dont work out like they should in this game. I have met most of these agents in this game, and have kept pretty much the same players since season 5. Some agents brought over more of thier own players, but we have kept it a pretty close operation so far. We have met some great owners/gms/players here in this league, and have learned a great amount from the Zeta teams. And we are hoping it has paid off for season 8. So good luck to all of the teams we have been battling since season 4 and welcome to all the new teams this season.

We are not shit talkers, we will be one of the first teams to give the ol' good game to anyone we play. I love competition and won't cry when we get beat, and love upsets even if its against me (stalkers season 6).

Season 7 13-3, lost in 2nd round of playoffs to the Champs Boston Piggers. Starting to pull things together, still have small budget crisis but all will be fine for season 8.

Season 6 10-6, lost in 1st round of playoffs to River City (I think) Much better season, still having to deal with budget issues of my own doing.

Season 5 4-12, first full season (the learning season) Lots of budget mistakes, Signed all level
13s for the cap just to have the cap raised to 21 and i had to dump everyone and start over. First mistake.

Season 4 0-16 (0-6 when I took over) Took over at the end of this season and rebuilt the team, and had some future potential comments from the others in the league. Had a goal of Gold in 3 seasons. Im a season off so far...

The last team that was, River City, actually had a pretty good team. But then they moved up to AA and promptly closed down the shop.

AA #3 is brutal
