Warrior General Games

I might as well give a shot at this. I got tons of time, and beer, on my side.

1. EuroTrash Talkers
The EuroTrash Talkers are the second best team in the conference if you judge by the Match Up bars. But Better blocking up front, and a better kicking team makes them my pick for the top team. The EuroTrash also have a very good OC/DC team, and that will make the difference.

2. Gridiron Greats
The Gridiron Greats were relegated down to our league because they were only 11th in the their Western Europe A #3 League. Virtually the entire team from last year is gone but, they did an amazing job of recruiting, and now they have the best power bar in our conference. I predict they will lose only to the EuroTrash.

3. Chicagoo Bears
The EuroTrash, Stafford Spartans, and Chicagoo bears are all rated at 48 by the Ratings Bars. All 3 are excellent teams. The only thing I have to go on are last seasons match ups, which had the Bears ahead. The Bears and Spartans are nearly a dead heat, but pressed for a choice, I pick the Bears.

4. Stafford Spartans
This Team is either, the worst of the best, or the best of the rest. I pick the Spartans for the 4th seed in the playoffs.

5. Glasgow Cats
Ok there are 5 teams at a 45 team rating. They all have a pretty much equal chance at the 5-8 spots for the playoffs. Going by last seasons results, I got to go with the Glasgow Cats for 5th seed. They have proven that they can get better every game.

6. Wolverhampton Wolverines
I am going to pick the Wolverines over the Sandlot based on past performance, and more importantly, past improvement. The Wolverines improved drastically last season, the Sandlot only improved a bit.

7. Arlington Sandlot
While they only improved marginally, the Sandlot are not to be dismissed. They have the talent now to put into effect their game plan. I still think they will fall short this season, as I do not believe they improved as much as everyone else.

8. PaPa Dong's Dragon Farm
This is a surprise team, as they were a slow build team last year... They dumped the slow players, and used the extra cash they had to find a decent team. Team wise they are still middle of the pack, but middle of the pack could mean a playoff spot. The only reason I have them 8th is because there is no way to judge their game plan with players that are level appropriate. They could finish as high as 5th.

9. Washington Warriors
The Warriors did enough to stay in the game with their recruiting this off season. They had problems beating same level teams last season, so they are down on the list.

10. Aalborg Snaps
The Snaps are in the same boat as the Warriors. They recruited well, and are on par level wise, but last season they just could not pull out the wins. With a very competitive 5-10th I have to rank them last.

11. D- Lightning
A new team in the league, they will have a tough time as they just do not have enough talent to compete. I think they will have a good battle for 11th with the Kickbacks though.

12. Kickback Cavaliers
Not enough talent to compete. This team will play the same it did last year.

The Best of the worst:
Seattle Panthers
Watford Cheetahs
San Francicso Gold Rush
Baltimore Knights

All 4 of these teams will lose every game they play against the teams above them. The Panthers will end up with the best record as they will defeat the 3 lower teams.

Not sure I agree with where you put the Warriors, but thats what happened last year and we made the playoffs...so who knows. Still, nice attempt at a pre-season ranking!

You think they should be higher? Where would you put them?

I would say higher yes, where specifically, couldn't tell ya. We ranked higher last season than several of the teams above us and beat several of them. I know that off season recruiting has a LOT to do with it, so I wouldn't expect to be higher than all of them right off the bat, but I can see us at least 2-3 slots higher. No worries either way, I think that pre-season rankings are near impossible to get 100% accurate. Good luck all!

No one said I was talking about you guys...which I wasn't...but damn, it was an informal comment, no need to get like that about it. This is an informal pre-season rating, NOTHING has been seen yet, and I was making comments semi jokingly. I never mind being rated below where I think we belong, makes people underestimate us like last season. Either way, just looking forward to playing again.

Great write up bro. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a curse to be the Pre-Season #1but I will tell you that I've worked extremely hard and making this team the best possible for this season and we are all excited and ready to roll. Let's Do This Thing!!
