Montreal Bullpups

Even though they won their conference championship, it appears that the players that remain are going to have a real struggle to compete in A ball this season. With many holes on the bench and some very low levelled starters, their chances of success are slim

SWIFT PREDICTION: 4 - 12

Pennybridge Pioneers

This team finished undefeated last season but lost the conference championship. (Reminds me of a story of a team we call BBB). They have more depts than the Bullpups and are a bit deeper in the starting positions. Their stadium hopefully has a lot of construction going on this season as 4 corners will not cut it.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 6 - 10

Gergovie Les Gaulois

Last season's BBB#5 champion. Has many players at many positions (3 HBs, 3 QBs). Typical level distribution of a newly promoted team. Stadium is well along.

SWIFT PREDICTION 7 - 9

Windsor lumber jacks

A team from my days in BBB #6. They have a stud at HB but the rest of their levels will not compete with the better part of A. Stadium is fairly along.

SWIFT PREDICTION 5 - 11

Calgary Mustangs

Lots of inactivity on this team may plague them early. A total stud QB has no backup. Extremely thin on offense and not much deeper on defense. They need to recruit soon or will be in huge trouble.

SWIFT PREDICTION 4 - 12

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes

I cant get a feel for this team. They have many stud 40s but the backups are not so strong. I feel that they should be able to beat most of the promoted competition. See them playing an away game come playoff time

SWIFT PREDICTION: 9 - 7

Montreal Hawaiian Punch

They finished 11-5 here. They are weak at QB. Backups arent the best. They need to fill a few holes to be a playoff team

Booty Bay Bandits

I can not speak of them. They are my nemesis. Too bad I have their number here. Always a well GM'd team, they always outperform. They will finish in the playoffs.

Okay, there's the first half. I am going to spend some QT with the wifey.

I think Calgary will be much better than expected. Yes, our new QB is a stud, but our backup RB also led BBB # 5 in rushing 2 seasons in a row. We have depth issues right now but believe me they will be solved.

I'm gonna pull a Jon Kitna and predict at least 10 wins this season..

We have never used a B/U QB on the Mavs., seems a waste since there are no injuries. Stamina has not been a issue for any of my QB's.

We've never had a backup either, and we only have 1 inactive player, but I expect him to return soon.

I don't use back-up QB's they get maybe 15 plays a game and the complain about PT...

Prince Rupert Catsharks

I think that this team will do pretty well this year. They have an HB who is completely unmatched (I hope he doesn't mind the lack of fame he can get). They have decent starters and fair backups. Their DEs stand out but their DTs dont scare too many off.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 12 - 4

Moncton Machine

Another perennial above average team. Never great, but always good. They are not the strongest at most of the offensive positions but have better backups than most. The defense could use a little work as well.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 10 - 6

New Amsterdam Chronic

Lower QB and HB level than most teams. Many quality backups at most positions. No real standouts (has only 2 level 40+ players). Depth and good tactics will be key for the Chronic.... and death to the Bandits.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 10 - 6

Flin Flon Flyers

A few standouts in the defensive secondary. Weak offensive line (aside from Tackles) and running back group. Could use a good TE. Average finish for them. God, I hope you built a ton of stadium sections this season.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 6 - 10

The Frozen Tundra

Many standouts on this team. They have great starters at most positions. Very thin at some O Line slots and at WR. Their best FB and C is a CPU player, Only 4 DL on the team! Can their starters pull through?

SWIFT PREDICTION: 7 - 9

Halifax Knights

Another thin team with standout starters. 1 QB, 1 C, 1 FB, 2 G, 2 OT, 1 TE, and 3 WR.... okay, you get my point. Without help, these guys are going to get killed. FIND BACKUPS!

SWIFT PREDICTION (AS IS): 3 - 13

St. Clair Ice Hawks

There are a ton of players on this team! About average level distribution. A couple of true standouts. I hope they built a ton onto the stadium or they are in big trouble.

SWIFT PREDICTION: 7 - 9

Cleveland BrownSnakes

BBB 6s first champion and going deep into the playoffs got this team killed in AA. Hailing from Cleveland myself, I can not hate on this team for the effort. But did they do it at the expense of a good stadium? Their fan support will be low after a poor 1 - 15 season. However, back in A now, they look to get another gold cup. Deep at many positions and just as good as anyone starting, I predict for them to take the conference
