Warrior General Games

So the rankings and teams continue to sort themselves out as the games play on....Most of the changes in the rankings this week are due to on-field performances, since I left the formula the same as it was last week. (I wanted to see if just the on field performances would move winners up and losers down, and it seems to have done so.)

Enjoy, and keep the feedback coming. Even you haters....lol Although please address all complaints to the "StickMan Complaint Dept." haha, thanks for making these successful enough for me to need help responding to everything, since I can't be trolling the forums all day long.

GSG has three tough games coming up. If we can get through those, we should be all set for the playoffs.

Of the four top teams in the conference, we've got the easiest remaining SoS.

My D got worse after giving up 7 points to the rangers today.

Second TD surrendered this year already.

Well, you do lead the league in scoring (#1-OCT 282, #2-Windsor 268, #3-Ft. Campbell 262). But, there are several other factors that go into making a good offense.
You're 6th in turnovers (given away) 3rd in total yards gained, and 21st in yards after the catch (this isn't a big factor, as it's only weighted at 0.8, but it still keeps you out of the #1).

Overall, the top 3 teams in my offensive rankings are very close, with a bit more room between 3rd and fourth.

I think people should realize that scoring the most points or giving up only 2 TDs so far does not necessarily make them the best O or D. There are a lot of factors that are (hopefully) taken into account.

These rankings are an attempt to give us an idea, and we should take them with a grain of salt. I see them as projections, especially when all teams have faced different competition due to schedule. We will not accurately know who's best/worst until all 16 games have been played out.

My post was in reply to someone else's. My D is still #1. I'm just saying that it got worse after a 20-7 win over the rangers.

Didn't mean to direct it towards you - i just took examples. It was meant for everyone. I just want Stickman to have to defend himself for every ranking shakeup. I am as passionate as the next person about why my D is only 5th, but i understand it is just how the numbers play out.
