thanks slim.. yeah, it seems like a semi-epidemic this season... but we certinaly all understand the factors that lead to such decisions..

I hate to see any team disband, but its the nature of the beast in this game. Good luck to all the players as they move forward, especially those that stay in A6 (unless they're playing Fury).

Kind of hard to build up any fun rivalries when it's like this.

I'm plan to keep on going until the bulk of our players hit the 10 season mark and start to decline. After that...who knows?

Been a good run....enjoyed out time in BBB#10 and A#6. The burden of recruiting each season just got to be too much. We also have a slow build team that we will be looking to tear it up with. For anyone that signs our players...take care of them, they have all been great agents.

Its been awhile since we have talk Moneyman and Sergev. Its a shame to see the Lightning disband. Haven't they been around since season 2?

We have been playing with 3 LBs (and with only 2 OTs for most of the season) since last season. This off season we were looking at having to replace another 6-8 players. It's extremely difficult and time consuming to recruit the types of players you need to be competitive. We have been just good enough to get into the playoffs every season, but for except for 1 season, not good enough to secure the home field. We weren't ever able to complete our whole stadium. With the price of equipment at these levels we were no long able to pay for all of our players upgrades....just doing everything we could to remain solvent. Its the reality of the GLB economy.

Yeah...started in season 2.

Thanks again guys. Moneyman explained it well. It is so hard to sign players as they want to play in the higher leagues. Our stadium has always made us scrape by financially. We didn't get in the Concession gouging early in the franchise. So money, recruiting, and lower level leagues has made it difficult. Our slow build team is just 5 agents on the same team. That means no recruiting.
