I have a piecethat I upped to a +3quick cut over the past two seasons, but I am starting to think its not really the reason myOT s so good. I have 66 agility on my OT, and he has only given up one sack (two if you count the OLB whoshot the gap).

I am starting to think that a foundation or shock block piece would be better. The only thing is that MAYBE the QC SA implements a bonus to agility. Then it would makesense to keep it.

WHat do you guys think? I can use the bonus tokens from it to make my foundation gear more powerful...to a +3, and +4 once I levelup one more time.

IMO, first step would be a better piece than quick cut. I think you should unequip your QC piece in a scrimmage or something and see how your guy fares. If you think he has enough agility to keep up with the DE, you can sell off that piece and get your bonus tokens back and put them into foundation or shock block.

I know FS is better, my center has that. I actually think its better for interior linemen for run blocking.

My theory was to get FS and Shock block for my LOT, so he can get to the defender a half step quicker then shock him. But shock block is a percentage piece, and i think foundation is a better piece.

I am gonna try the unequip route...but then again I will be losing 4 blocking.

My OT actually only has second capped blocking...I am trying an experiment that second cap strength and third capped agility are better than third/4th capped blocking. I just have a feeling that if you can't match the agility of DEs to within 10 or so, then the blocking actually GIMPS your OT. I will start firing blocking again once the agility is 3rd capped.

Oh yeah, had first step AND foundation gear in the same roll and I got the foundation. Thats a bitch, because I would have bought both!!!!

THanks,
