So am I as well. Was a great game last time but the Turnovers killed us. Hoping we don't give the ball up at all this time around and maybe take a few from you as well.....

... yeah, imagine that... turnovers deciding the outcome of a GLB playoff game.
I wish Bort and the staff would just come out and admit that they have a separate sim engine that runs the playoffs. It seems like nearly every game against evenly matched opponents is determined by less than ten points, and there are WAY too many last-minute INT and fumble return TDs.
I get that the logic is that the games might be more exciting that way, but it's not like the games are watched real-time, so there no drama built up. It's just a score on a scoreboard... after the fact. The losing team feels they get cheated, and the winning team feels they just got lucky... it has nothing to do with being the better team.
Our games with the Mombasa Wombats and Macedonian Lions are bad examples, but with the Wombats, the teams had two INTs from each other within 30 seconds... and for the Lions, 4 of our backs fumbled the ball, when they had only let it slip twice AS A UNIT in the whole 16 game season. Butterfingers all of a sudden? As far as I'm concerned, the Zeta title was decided in the regular season match-ups, and I think the correct team represents us... but this playoff stuff is a joke. I'm not looking for realism so much as consistency *shrug*.

On no I wasn't using that as an excuse or anything. We turned the ball over twcie in Regular season against them as well. Can't do that and expect to win against a good team.
Can't remember but would need to look at the play again but it was a simple out route that the CB jumped and no one was near him to try and tackle. Think so anyway

No, I wasn't saying you were using it as a crutch, Derkin... just saying that agents all over GLB are complaining about the playoff sim results. Just seems fishy that a ton of games are decided by last minute turnovers and fumble/INT problems when they weren't plagued with them throughout the season. Truth be told, the win/loss outcome is usually what you would expect when looking at the make-up of the two teams involved, but the play-by-play results are ridiculous.
