Cameroon Swingin' Tarzans VS Detroit Drive-by

Cameroon has a very strong team but i think Detroit has learned a few good lessons over the course of the season that should IMO change the outcome of the next game. Im going with the upset here. I just dont think Cameroons defense is up to snuff for a playoff game of this magnitude. They say defense wins superbowls. This game will show why.

Detroit by 10.

Pygmy Death Squad VS Cape Town Crusaders

I hate to say this but i dont think Cape Towns team is up to par with the other 3 top teams. I see 3 amazing teams..then 3-4 good teams. Cape Town is one of those good teams that just happens to be SLIGHTLY better than the other good teams. They got beat down by those 3 teams just as bad as the rest of us. Sorry Cape Town...i see another severe beating comin at ya by the Death Squad.

By 10, huh? You're pretty accurate up to this point, we'll have to see. I think our defense has played pretty good tho lately.

Your defense played damn good all season. #1 in passing defense and rushing defense, but i think detroit played a weak offensive gameplan vs you guys the first time. I think they have learned from it and will take it to you this game. You guys are an awesome team but i dont think your offense can keep up with theirs this time.

As for being pretty accurate..i dont think i was really. Every game was MUCH more of a beatdown than i predicted.

I was off by

14 in the Bulls/Drive-by game
24 in the Cameroon/Strong-badia game
24 in the Cape Town/Swaziland game
35 in the Pygmies/Kenya game

All were beatdowns compared to my predictions.

and for the Cameroon vs Detroit game... before the Crusader Cameroon game, I might have said the same... After... Cameroon has their stuff together. I'll predict Cameroon by 14

Should be some really good games today. Can't wait to see how they sim out.

I'll be at work, hope the inmates are nice enough to let me sneak away long enough to watch the sim. if not, it'll be 10:00 before I see it tonight.

Yeah...the Pygmy's are likely going to give Cape Town some prison love tonight. And I agree with JMK . . . there is something about that Tarzan team. I am going Pygmy's by 115, Tarzan's by 3.

Man, glad our offense showed up. Defense did an admirable job but was put in a pickle a couple of times. That long INT for a TD kinda sucked.

GG indeed. I can almost imagine the way the crowd sounded (if it were real) on that Detroit 4th down play late in the game.

And Cameroon....great work It appears Detroit didnt learn the lesson i had expected. I figured they were gonna run run run run, and IMO they should have. Those to Pounding RBs would tire out that D-line and do great the 2nd half. Totally not what i expected from them. I thought DS was gonna run the ball like 50 times. Hell that coulda won them a championship.

They had a better yards per run the first game so i expected them to go with it heavy this time.
Maybe im wrong and this was a better gameplan..its just my opinion.

Thanks . . . we decided to 100% stop the Pygmy's running game, which we did, but it left their TE and HB wide open at times in passing routes. We knew it was a gamble, but it would give us our best shot. Kept it pretty close, but that is just a great team.
