Bring strength and blocking up to 68 unequipped, then get agility up to 60 unequipped.
Then start pumping SAs, but pick one or two to concentrate on. Ignore Pancake SA. Pancakes are pretty meaningless in GLB. Spreading your points around too many SA's just means each one doesn't do a whole lot.

I think splitting is fine. I'm not sure it really matters. Some people have an opinion one way or the other but I don't remember seeing anyone who has experimented with different sets of equipment and said there was a difference.
