Screw Alpha...they're a bunch of suckas.

Looks like a Belgrade/Gdansk rematch on Saturday. Both teams have looked strong in the playoffs. Belgrade won their Week 16 showdown with a big 4th quarter. I see no reason why the Zeta championship game won't be any different.

As for Zeta v Alpha, given that no one in Alpha had an unbeaten season, I think it is abit too early to call the final game. I agree that the top 6 in Alpha were stronger than Zeta, but it doesn't mean the top 2 in Zeta can't match Alpha's top teams.

We played with no EQ on, used basic AI and didn't gameplan. I think I covered all the normal excuses. lol

If we're lucky, maybe we'll meet Sevastopol in the league championship for a rematch.

TBH I think the entire league overall from top to bottom is weak. I can't wait until promotion. There are only about three teams from each conference that are really good.

and i hate to be a traitor to my own conference, but I do think alpha is much better than zeta.

you're kidding right? The top 6 teams from Alpha would compete with the top 3 from Zeta. Alpha has much more than just 3 really good teams. Sevastpool, Warsaw, Moscow, DC, 300, and Kazan all would be at the top of zeta as well if put in that conference. I'm not saying Alpha is going to win, I personally think the Alpha team will, but it's not a auto-W.

But you're insane if you think there are only 3 really good teams from Alpha. Hell the 4 in the semi's were all monsters. Go look at the EEA tourney and see how many EEA2 Alphas made it far. We got knocked out by another EEA2 alpha that got 3rd (Warsaw).

I think alpha has the best team out of both conferences. I also think alpha's top 6 are way better than zeta's top 6. But I think that zeta's number 2 and 3 teams are better than alpha's number 2 and 3 teams.

I just don't see how you could logically come to that decision.

Can you say who is Alpha's top team? Sevastpool was the 4th seed in alpha had 3 losses to other Alpha teams yet beat the 1 seed in Zeta. Really there is no logic behind that. There is no way to determine the top teams in alpha because I honestly think that the top 4 would beat each other on different days. The top 4 teams in Alpha beat up on each other and are the only losses for each other. Who is the "top" team, and then would you say is the 2 and 3?

edit - I just looked at the 2 and 3 from Zeta and Warsaw Eagles lost scrims to Moscow and Warsaw War Machine and so did Gdnask. Warsaw Eagles have another scrim coming up with Moscow and with Kazan. That will be 3 of the top teams in Alpha. With Belgrade losing to Sevastpool already I really am not seeing where you came up with that logic whatsoever. I'm not talking shit, but your comments have no backing.

Moscow is the best team in Alpha of course...

And Gdansk are the best in Zeta.... I have no doubt Moscow go into the championship game as favourites but I don't see my mother-in-law singing yet.
