Yeah, now that there are only 4 of ya'll, I'll start talking about the East because you 4 might actually matter and I've paid a bit of attention to you the rest of this season as well. Also this way, I've only got a 25% chance for my cursed pick to be my own game.

Toronto Thunder vs. Thunder Bay Marauders: I've liked the Thunder since the first game of this season. In progressive offseason games against my Vikings they've gone from getting their asses whooped to becoming nearly competitive. They've also done nothing but get better all season.
Prediction: Toronto Thunder by 14.

Black River Rats vs. Windsor Warhammers: The Warhammers looked really really impressive in their game last week. However, they looked pretty anemic against the Brr (which it was 17 degrees in FLORIDA last night..I live down here for a fucking reason and that is not it....brrr) the weak before.
Prediction: Riverrodents by 7.

Manitoba Maulers vs. North Bay Drift: The last time these teams played the Maulers gained more yards, had less penalties, had more sacks, punted less often, and lost. North Bay is gonna bring out everything they can to win again, and I'd love to see it happen.
Prediction: NBD by 7

Vancouver Vikings vs. Cincinnati Cardinals: After an AI mistake kept the Cards from taking a chance on 4th to tie up the game, I'm sure they won't be making the same sort of mistake again. I think this game is going to come down to who can get the ball in the endzone rather than kicking it.
Prediction: Vikings by 7.

I've got nothing but love and respect for all the teams who have made it this far, good luck to all!

Well done, and I hope you're right about the Rats.
Windsor won't be surprised this time, so we'll just have to see what we can bring to the table.

Good luck to all, except Windsor.

I hear you. I'm in Florida too and it was mid 20s on my way to school this morning. Crazy.

Yes, but you choose to remain in Wisconsin/Maine, so while I am a cold weather pussy, you're just idiots buried in snow.

Then again, I'd like to see ya'll doing yardwork when it's 100 out.

We had one of our guys from Chicago come to our office last week when it was like 20 with a wind chill of 8 and he said it seems colder down here than it does up there with a wind chill of under 0 because we have wet cold and most of the cold up there is a dry cold.

Said it is hard to explain but once you experience it you understand.

I'd much rather be out in 108 with humid than in 20 degree cold weather. When it warms up, I'm never inside and I don't believe in AC for trucks/cars.

Chicago has a dry cold? It is on the Lake though...that is odd. I know exactly what he is talking about though, Florida is both a wet cold and a wet hot.

Umm...is this a GLB thread or did I stumble upon The Weather Channel by mistake?

Finally, Maulers are the under-dog, I can sleep in peace.
