Week 5- Eastern
By: Mike Concho
The Mustangs were hoping to turn around their season against the winless Stingers on Monday and that's exactly what they did. After losing two straight, Chicago (3-2) defeated the Miami Stingers (0-5) 13-7. Chicago marked the game early as a running battle, rushing on 12 of 18 offensive plays. Greg Alstott (Tim Harper, CHI), a FB, scored the only points of the first quarter on a 6 yard run. Miami tied the score at 7-7 heading into halftime, when Deangelo Oakes (CPU, MIA) found Carson Zimmer (CPU, MIA) 10 yards downfield in the endzone.
Chicago built a lead in the second half when Stephen Wai (svedda, CHI) booted field goals of 20 and 39 yards. Miami had a chance to win it, but their drive stalled on Chicago's 10 yard line and couldn't pump it into the endzone.
Neither coach was available for comment.
The East Coast Gubba Bump Shrimp Offensive and Defensive Players of the Game were Greg Alstott and Kerry Boudreaux (CPU, CHI). Alstott rushed the ball 18 times for 46 yards and the lone Mustang touchdown of the game. Boudreaux made two tackles, deflected three balls, and had two interceptions in just 28 plays.

Concho's final note: Hey managers, when you play another Human owned team send me a PM with your coach's comment and I'll put your comment in the article.
