Warrior General Games

First round was a good one. lots of good games. Both #5 seeds won and the #6 from the West also advance to the next round.

We'll start with the East (despite the West thinking they are the best)

3 of the for teams left in the east came up from BBB#5 last season.

#1D.C. Corruption VS #5 East Saint Louis Firebirds

------- These two teams met in week 12. ESL come out victorious that game handing D.C their only loss of the season.
------- ESL advanced to the second round by beating the Commando's whom they lost to in the regular season. Now it is D.C. turn to try to get some revenge.
------- ESL is on an 11 game win streak.
------- Firebirds win 27-24. I think it will come down to whoever scores last and turnovers.

#2 Key West Corsairs VS #3 Kansas Flashpoint

------- These two teams just met in week 14. That game was much closer than the 52-21 score indicates.
------- These teams have been playing each other since season 4 (before that we were not the KW Corsairs so I don't count) and it will be a shame that this we be their last game against each other.
------- The over/under on Miller Miller TDs is 1.
------- Corsairs win 42-37.


And now my attempt at the West.

BBB#6 brings 2 teams into the final 4.
#1 Portland Aftershocks VS #5 Louisiana Ragin Cajuns

------- These two teams met in week 9. PA only scored 31 in that contest. the fewest all season. The cajuns will have to not only duplicate that effort but add some offense to go with it.
------- Portland finished the season undefeated.
------- Portland wins 38-14.

#2Las Vegas Aces VS #6 Norfolk Nighthawks

------- These two teams met in week 11. Aces controled that game to a 23-9 win. Norfolk will have to get into the endzone if they want to come out on top.
------- The Aces went through the season with only 1 loss though had several close games. Not as dominant a performance as Portland but proved they belong in the #2 slot.
------- Aces win 32-17.

Nope, no jinxes here. Thats why I said a "shot at hosting", which means its not a sure thing. See? Ive learned my lessons with jinxes.

Believe me I know that with Flashpoint nothing is a sure thing.
