Here is my end of season recap. This will show where I thought everyone would be at the beginning of the season, where they ended up, my opinions of how the team did compared to their expectations/potential, and what advice if any that I have for the team in the future.

Next to the team name I have the rankings for the teams for each of what I think were the major rankings I made during the season. [ Preseason | Before Week 3 | Before Week 6 | Before Week 10 | Before Week 13 ]

1. Stockholm Dynamites Previous Ranks: [ 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 ]
-What was expected of them? Conference champion.
-How did they do? Met expectations for championship, but are playing better than advertised.
-Are they pleased or disappointed? Extremely pleased.
-How can they improve? Keep doing what they're doing in uncapped play.

2. Helsinki Hitmen Previous Ranks: [ 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 ]
-What was expected of them? Conference championship contender.
-How did they do? Fell 7 points short of an upset and the #1 seed in Alpha, but they took care of all other business.
-Are they pleased or disappointed? Pleased at their record, disappointed at what might have been. Hopefully excited for a potential playoff rematch and for promotion next season.
-How can they improve? Keep doing what they're doing in uncapped play.

3. Cologne Ghosts Previous Ranks: [ 5 | 6 | 6 | 5 | 3 ]
-What was expected of them? Playoffs.
-How did they do? Answered all questions about their preparedness this season, and played very well.
-Are they pleased or disappointed? Very pleased.
-How can they improve? Keep doing what they're doing in uncapped play.

4. Athens Devils Previous Ranks: [ 4 | 3 | 3 | 2 | 4 ]
-What was expected of them? Top four contender.
-How did they do? Met expectations, looked like a team who could challenge for #1 for a while.
-Are they pleased or disappointed? Very pleased.
-How can they improve? Go all out for next season, bring in capped talent, they have the ability to win BBB7 next season.

5. South Beach Sea Hawks Previous Ranks: [ 8 | 7 | 7 | 4 | 5 ]
-What was expected of them? Playoffs.
-How did they do? Exceeded expectations, almost made it to a home game.

8. Barcelona Dare devils Previous Ranks: [ 7 | 5 | 5 | 7t | 8 ]

-Are they pleased or disappointed? Owner probably doesn't care.
-How can they improve? Blow it up.

Most pleasant surprise: Baden Bandits
-Did not do much in the offseason after being the 8th seed in Zeta last year, so there was not much prospect for a vast improvement. However they showed themselves to be smart gameplanners and were a well prepared team that was stocked with solid depth and good builds. Their offense played very well all season, but it was their defense that won their crucial games against Berlin and Atlanta to secure their place as the #2 team in Zeta.

Honorable mentions: Liverpool SEA Fusion, Palermo Panthers, South Beach Sea Hawks.

Most glaring disappointment: Denver Hounds
-Started out season 6 as easily the second best team in Zeta, then it all went downhill from there. Went from blowing teams out, to barely beating them, to falling in the first round of the playoffs, keeping them in Zeta for another season despite their 14-2 record and win over Jacksonville. Talent on their team was only signed for one season in some cases, and was moved to other teams by the GMs in other cases, but regardless their attempts to contend this season were futile, and they were not only unable to take their rightful place on the top of Zeta, but couldn't even sniff the playoffs.

Dishonorable mentions: Barcelona Dare devils, Reading Armed Centaurs, Dusseldorf Noobs.

Offensive Player of the Year: Gorilla Bruiser, Stockholm Dynamites
-The numbers tell half of the story. A big half though, 4072.5 yards on 325 carries for a cool 12.5 average with 82 touchdowns. Played a part in the passing game as well with 242 yards on 17 receptions and another 6 touchdowns. Shit even had 3 pancakes. The Bruiser was the horse that Stockholm was able to ride all the way to a dominant undefeated season, and I'd argue he is the best offensive player in all of WE BBB.

Honorable mentions: Gunn Slinghaa, Anduril Yari, John Caterby, Interceptions McThrowin, Matt Moore #3, Samm Young.

Defensive Player of the Year: Ragnarr Loðbrók, Lyon Winemakers
-The lynchpin of a very strong Lyon defense did a little of everything this season. 106 tackles without a single miss, three sacks, 21 tackles for loss, 18 passes deflected, a fumble recovery almost returned for a touchdown, and 3 picks, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Ragnarr defends the strong side of Lyon's defense against the run, and is a shutdown cover linebacker at the same time when asked to.

Honorable mentions: Banana Boater, Tackle Interceptor, Gina Lynn, Brandon Hanson, Wilhelm T. Klöf, Big Polar Bear.

And finally, Goldie's All-WEBBB7 Team:

QB Gunn Slinghaa, Stockholm Dynamites (Runs the most potent offense in BBB7)
RB Gorilla Bruiser, Stockholm Dynamites (Offensive POY)
FB Tread Lightly, Lyon Winemakers (Carries the ball well and blocks like no other)
WR Lord Marshal Riddick, Cologne Ghosts (Throw out his overblown FPM game and he still has great stats)
WR Mo Conway, Lyon Winemakers (Top receiver for a potent passing attack)
TE Soldja "Boy" Winslow, Luxembourg Lightning Bolts (Puts up WR numbers from the TE position)
LT Samm Young, Lyon Winemakers (Pancake leader 2 years in a row for BBB7)
RT Jarred Temple, Helsinki Hitmen (Clearing the way for the top running game in BBB7)
LG Guy Gervais, Athens Devils (Interior line anchor for Underrated running attack)
RG Johnny Hannah, Dusseldorf Noobs (Very strong on running and passing)
C Colin Market, Helsinki Hitmen (Incredible pancake numbers from the C position)

NT Mr. Fu Man Chu, Baden Bandits (Immovable object)
DT Big Polar Bear, Stockholm Dynamites (Big guy has some moves, gets to the QB)
DE Banana Boater, Stockholm Dynamites (Sack machine for the #1 team)
DE Hooper Humperdink, Berlin Blitz (Disrupted many a Zeta offense this season)
LOLB Ragnarr Loðbrók, Lyon Winemakers (Defensive POY)
MLB Stuffing Ya Run, South Beach Sea Hawks (Anchors this underrated unit and can do it all)
ROLB Linun Thesand, Berlin Blitz (Solid blitzer and top notch weak side defender)
CB Brandon Hanson, Lyon Winemakers (TAINTS!)
CB Gina Lynn, Stockholm Dynamites (TAINTS!)
SS Tackle Interceptor, Denver Hounds (Wreaking havoc on ballcarriers)
FS Hyun Bin, Middlesbrough Mayhem (I know he's a SS but he is more deserving than any SS)

K Long Kicks, Reading Armed Centaurs (Automatic from short range, and has the leg to kick from distance as well)
P Enojada Ay-No-Ha-Da, Baden Bandits (Big boots helped Baden in their close games with the field position game)
KR/PR Viktor Khruschev, Helsinki Hitmen (Cream of both the KR and PR crops)

Well Interceptions McThrowin just clinched the TDs trophy for throwing, and the Zeta passing yards. (2nd overall behind Gun)

so I am pleased from his turn around from seasons past. he is boosted now and ready for playoffs.

May the best team win

Nice write up. Glad to see that boosting isn't necessary to have a great player. Can't wait until the playoffs.

As much as you and I have had our differences, from all the leagues I've been in you have done the best league writeups of any I've been apart of.

Props Goldie.
