Or does it only work while on defense?

I am pretty certain that nobody except Bort has a definitive answer on this.

I would guess that it helps, but probably not all that much.

I seem to remember a bort post that said SV is basically just a huge avoid fake %. Could easily be wrong, though.

Bort...defensively, are fakes set up to trigger based on vision, and the length is based on agility?

Sorta, though it's a bit of both, and don't forget the super vision SA - that gives you bonuses to avoiding fakes.

Meh...pretty common belief that Super Vision is just a boost to vision itself.

That would be WAY incorrect. It does what it says it does.

It says it does the things that vision does, right?

Yes, but situationally, not just across the board +vision at all time.

I guess the question comes down to the application of "Noticing Developing Plays." One might hope that this would help on returns...but that would be pure hope without a great deal of supporting evidence.

super vision makes you super good at seeing who you are running into.

The way I read things, which could easily be wrong, is that it's only on defense. Has anyone rolled a SV AE for a WR or HB? I'm pretty sure I've heard of return specialist being a roll for them, and I have yet to hear of a completely useless SA rolled on an AE (as in no DLG on FBs, no Tight Spiral on a SS).

Its been a while, but I remember a KR CB who had 7 in supervision and did quite well, though im not sure if it was the SV or just the speed / agil. At first I thought it was Serenity's CB, but its not, maybe Nickola??? I think it was season 3.

Basically almost nothing will help a returner. You need a returner to have decent speed and maybe decent agility. That's about it. The rest is luck since there is very little you can do beyond some basic tweaking of where you put certain players. Special Teams needs some coding done before you should worry about it. Don't do anything to your player to make them better on special teams other than add speed. Be more concerned about the regular play.

pretty sure it was Serenity

she also had quite a bit of speed and agility when she was making all of those returns

It helps you see what you are running a straight line into.

You need to be as fast as possible to cover as much ground as possible before you run directly into the pile.

SuperVision may eventually help if Special Teams is ever worked on. Since its not even in the "Long Range Plans" don't hold your breath.
