not as many games plus I had a little time so I threw some predictions together
ALPHA
Singapore Buddhist (1) vs Shanghai Assassins (8)
Singapore have had a stellar season, have run through every opponent with ease and are looking good for a shot at that conference final. They played the Assassins only recently and shut them down 47-10. Is there anything to suggest in a weeks time that Shanghai have improved so great as to overturn such a scoreline? Nope, unfortunately for them the Buddhists still have Jessica Biel, and that usually means you will lose. Singapore advance
Final Score – Singapore Buddhist 44 – 13 Shanghai Assassins
Haiphong Red Dragons (4) v Bangkok Dragons (4)
Holy moly do we have a great game in store here. Two great teams battling off in a true 4th vs 5th clash. Bangkok won the regular season game by only 2 points, 38-36, so it would be silly to read too much into that game and say Bangkok are the better team. It is about who executes, who gameplans and who is simply the 'better' team on the day, because this is about as even as it gets ladies and gentlemen. Something tells me Haiphong get revenge for the regular season defeat and advance in another extremely tight game. Tell your kicker to get that leg warmed up!
Final Score - Haiphong Red Dragons 27 – 24 Bangkok Dragons
Surayaba Heroes (2) v Jambi Juice (7)
Surayaba have been a team in great form all season long, 15-1 shows how dominant they really have been. Their last match up showed why Surayaba have #1 rated defense in the league, completely shutting down Jambi and holding a very good offense to only 10 points. There isn't anything to say that Jambi have much of a chance here today, but that's not to say they can't come up with a gameplan and throw everything they can at the Heroes. It will take a hell of a lot to knock Surayaba out of the playoffs at the first stage though, Surayaba take it.
Final Score – Surayaba Heroes 36 – 17 Jambi Juice
Beijing Black Dragons (3) v Taiwan Dragons (6)
Beijing complete the three teams who finished the regular season 15-1 in Alpha, and it is Taiwan who come to town trying to upset the Black Dragons. Regular season game was pretty close, only 11 points in it so this may be a close nail-biter. I think it will take a lot for Taiwan to beat Beijing today, they will have to play the best game of their season and hope that the Black Dragons take their foot off the gas, but I can't see it happening. Black Dragons grind out a well-deserved victory and advance to the next round of the playoffs
Final Score – Beijing Black Dragons 35 – 28 Taiwan Dragons

Guam Carabao (1) v Phuket 'Happy Endings' (8)
Guam have torn this conference apart pretty much, 15-1 and looked very impressive in doing so, but Phuket are certainly no pushovers, and I definitely don't see this as a classic 1st vs 8th matchup where the 1st seed will probably dominate. The regular season game between the two was won by Guam but by only 5 points, probably a good indicator of how close this game will be. Phuket will be disappointed with how they finished, losing 4 of the last 5 and dropping them down to 8th spot in the conference, but there's no doubt this team can play, just ask Arrowhead. I'm struggling to pick a winner because I really believe that it could go either way, but i'll say Guam take the win by the a last gasp FG
Final Score – Guam Carabao 38 – 35 Phuket Happy Endings
Lumpinee Stadium Maine-iacs (4) v Holiday In Cambodia (5)
Close game in prospect here as two teams go to war. Holiday In Cambodia have had a stellar finish to their campaign, beating the likes of Ottawa and Arrowhead on their way to claiming 5th spot. The regular season campaign saw the Maine-iacs come out on top just by 5 points so it promises to be another close one. With predictable Maine-iac bias I will say that Lumpinee will win this one, but i'm guessing it's going to be one of those games you absolutely hate to watch in the PBP.
Final Score – Lumpinee Stadium Maine-iacs 37 – 28 Holiday In Cambodia
Bangkok Bangers (2) v Kuala Lumpur Pit Vipers (7)
Well these two only played each other in the regular season in week 16, and Bangkok came out as dominant victors in that one 59-17, it would be crazy to predict anything other than another Bangers victory. I don't think the Pit Vipers possess the quality on defense to stop the Bangkok offense from scoring whenever they like. It will be over before the second half comes I feel unfortunately for Kuala Lumpur, who can be very proud of the season they have had.
Final Score – Bangkok Bangers 55 – 24 Kuala Lumpur Pit Vipers
Arrowhead Fanatics (3) vs Johor Bahru Beach Bums (6)
Good game in prospect here. Arrowhead have looked pretty dominant all season, despite a few blips in games they are still a team to fear come the post season. The Beach Bums have struggled, partly due to their poor chemistry, but have hung on to win some vital games and got a very respectable 6th spot in the conference. Arrowhead dominated the regular season game and something tells me that although it will be much closer, I am going to predict Arrowhead take the victory in this one and will be advancing into the next round.
Final Score – Arrowhead Fanatics 41 – 24 Johor Bahru Beach Bums
