Had to do these early with a week from you know where coming up for me. Good luck to all those on the playoff trail, well, most of you anyways.

#1 Sumatra Sting (16-0) vs. #8 Manila Pack (9-7)
-regular season matchup: Week 12 - Sting 48 Pack 14
The Sting expect a much longer playoff run this season after losing their 1st round matchup last season – their first in AA. The Pack scratched their way into the playoffs in their first season at AA. Can the Sting handle the quest for perfection? They will have to dodge some bullets along the way, but this one should just be a tune up for what lies ahead. Sting 35 Pack 17.
#4 Hell Valley Snow Monkeys (13-3) vs. #5 Algeria Addiction (12-4)
-regular season matchup: Week 3 - Monkeys 47 Addiction 33
The Addiction were the victims of a 1st round upset last season, this year they go in as underdogs. Their four losses on the season are the most they have every had, and they have been here since season one. The Monkeys meanwhile arrived in AA just last season, upset the Mountain Men in the first round of the playoffs before losing to the eventually champions, the Singapore J.B. Lions. I smell one last charge by the old guard. Addiction 30 Monkeys 28.
#2 Cambodia Mountain Men (15-1) vs. #7 Tibet Psychonauts (10-6)
-regular season matchup: Week 7 - Mountain Men 34 Psychonauts 13
Tibet makes their first playoff appearance since arriving in AA back in season 5. The Mountain Men have “been here” but they have failed to “do that” as they reach the playoffs for their 3rd time in 4 seasons in the league. You can bet that last season’s 1st round flame out to the Monkeys is weighing heavily on the minds of the Mountain Men faithful. Not this season. Mountain Men 49 Psychonauts 24.
#3 Surabaya Poison Dart Frogs (13-3) vs. #6 Hakone Heroes (11-5)
-regular season matchup: Week 5 - Frogs 44 Heroes 41
Two AA rookies matchup in this one. The Frogs manhandled the Heroes in the A conference championship game last season (55-17) to advance the league championship game, where they lost to the Lea Lea Furniture. Going to be a shoot out for sure with the Frogs just one hop ahead of the Heroes. Frogs 38 Heroes 31.

#1 Malaysian Madness (15-1) vs. #8 Palembang Tigers (10-6)
-regular season matchup: Week 4 - Madness 48 Tigers 7
The Madness are going for their 2nd title in a row after marching through the A playoffs last season. The Tigers are two for two in making the playoffs at this level, but oh for one in playoff games so far. Not a good matchup for the Tigers to get their first playoff win. Madness 35 Tigers 17.
#4 Bandar Seri Begawan Marauders (11-5) vs. #5 Georgetown United (11-5)
-regular season matchup: Week 11 - Marauders 16 United 3
Another matchup that pits a couple AA rookies going at it. This one has the makings of a defensive battle (do those occur anymore in GLB?). It comes down to the 4th quarter, but the breaks go to the Marauders. Marauders 24 United 13.
#2 Shanghai Cheetahs (15-1) vs. #7 Arctic Avalanche (10-6)
-regular season matchup: Week 3: Cheetahs 31 Avalanche 20
Both of these teams are making their first AA playoff appearance in their 2nd season here. The Cheetahs have been running at full speed lately while the Avalanche seems to be slowing. I don’t expect this one to be as close as the first time the met. Cheetahs 45 Avalanche 14.
#3 Lea Lea Furniture (14-2) vs. #6 Manila Guerrillas (10-6)
-regular season matchup: Week 5: Furniture 33 Guerrillas 16
The Furniture also try for their 2nd title in a row after blitzing through the A playoffs last season, knocking off fellow playoff qualifiers the United and the Frogs along the way. This is the Guerrillas 5th straight AA playoff appearance. They are hoping though that they have exercised their demons with the team name change because they have suffered four 1st round losses in along the way. Chalk up another one. Furniture 42 Guerrillas 24.
