bort's the only one who knows the exact penalty, but the general concencus is that it's minimal for a C playing G.
given the build advantages that C's have, they make great backup Gs, if not starters in a pinch.

My center has been playing Right Guard the last two season. he is pretty good at it. SO I think the hit is very minimal.

minor point, but you also lose the value of whatever points you put into Line General (and Natural Leader vet ability) since that only works at C.
