Another exciting week in Alpha and the playoff rankings still a little cloudy. Oslo is top seed for sure with their latest win. Currently a three-way tie for 2-4 spots, but only Shams guaranteed an easy win. Three more tied for 5-7 spots, but again, a mis-step could even knock em out of the playoffs completely. And finally three teams battling for that precious number 8 spot, but cuz of the closeness, a win could put them even higher.

In games this week, stallions stomp tofu around the stable with an upset. In an incredibly low yardage game, Red Lights squeeze by Assassins. Bastards win over Dragons on a couple fumble/recoveries but still fall a spot in rankings. And Zurich just not quite able to take down CPU-terror.

Week 16:

Oslo vs Terror. No contest. Oslo wins.

Tofu vs Assassins. Assassins really need a win to try and snag a playoff spot. Tofu really needs a win to try and keep that home game. Both teams lost last week, but Tofu the stronger team. Tofu wins.

Shams vs CPU-dogs. Another no contest. Shams win.

Bastards vs Huskies. Huskies not as helpless as their record might suggest. But as a farm team, winning isn't necessarily their main goal either. Bastards win.

Doom vs Dragons. Doom is very good at scoring TDs, not so hot at FGs. So if Dragons can keep them out of the end zone, they have it made. Dragons win.

Red Lights vs Pirates. A must win if the pirates want a chance at a play off spot. Teams are fairly close in levels, with advantage to Red Lights. Pirates have a well balanced team that has not played bad this year and could easily get the upset. Red Lights win.

Stallions vs Trawlers. Stallions should not have any trouble with the Trawlers. But to get in they have to hope some teams in the tier above them and in their own tier have a few problems. Stallions win.

Cards vs Zurich. Cards get to end the season on a high note. Cards win.

Game of the week: Doom vs Dragons.

Good Luck everyone! It has been a terrific season.

We made some adjustments over the past few games, and we're very happy to have beaten a strong team in the Tofu.

Tofu, we're rooting for you this week!! If I read things right we need the Tofu to beat the Assassins, and then we need to take care of our business against the Trawlers to get the 8th seed.

With the promotion and the changes at owner/gm's, I'd be very happy with getting into the playoffs. This is a tough division, with a lot of good teams/owners.

Good luck all.

If we get just a bit of help, we will get the 7th seed and have to go against the tofu again.

Great job Stallions. Definitely surprised us there, and we werent ready for that.

Sadly, our OC will not be present when right when the playoffs start (but I cant be mad, he's going to the Amazon). Hopefully we can push through that and get to the top.

like the real amazon or a team in a SA League?

Yeah, we are surprising a lot since the owner left and we have an OC that knows his stuff and is passionate about winning. THe early losses makes everyone underestimate us.

Thanks,
Good luck in the playoffs

Isn't that a conflict of interests?

Well, the good news for the Stallions is that after a rocky start to the season where our owner bailed on us and jacked up the AI's before he left, we got some good GM's in abd made some adjustments to have a nice finsih to the season and make it in as the 8th sead. Woot!

The bad news; we get the #1 Oslo Norsemen. Well, we're going to give it our best shot and see what happens.

Good luck to everyone in the playoffs!
