Trash talking passes the time and is enjoyable IF it's done fairly and doesn't overtly insult teams.I like the approach you take to the game, I agree.

Edit: But I disagree on the "concrete numbers" determining the game before it's even played. With passing the way it is right now, and no tactic update yet for coaches, it's still random. You could go for 400 passing yards and 5tds, or 200 3 ints and 2 sacks. There is still a lot randomly decided in game, which adds to the matchups.
