This will be my final playoff prediction until the seeds are set and the last games are played. If you are a player on the Souls or a fan of the Souls, please stop reading. Enjoy the read guys.
1ST ROUND!!!
#8 Redcliff Razamanaz (8-8)
vs
#1 Berlin Devine Right (15-1)
The Right come in to this game after losing to the Raptors because they don't give a shit and are fucking around. They are publicly trophy hunting. HB Rickey Watters said, "This season is a loss if I don't finish top 3 in yards and TDs! If we don't accomplish that in the last 3 games then I will quit this team before the playoffs!" Star QB Hood Lum also states, "If I don't get #1 in TDs then I will refuse to pass the ball in the playoffs. I will run the ball every play myself and ignore the HB and the coaches calls. What are they going to do? Bench me? We only have 1 QB!"
The Raz will feed George the ball like they have all season long, but the front 7 of BDR is way too tough and will break him at the line of scrimmage. BDR wins big.
Raz 17 - Right 66
#5 Rekohu Raptors (11-5)
vs
#4 Bundaberg Drop Bears (13-3)
At the beginning of the season I thought the Drop Bears were maybe the 5th best team in conference and the Raptors were the top team to beat. Boy, was I wrong. The Raptors have been proved to be very vulnerable through the air and the Drop Bears are definitely the team to upset any team. Neither BDR or the Boys want to see them in the post season. The Drop Bears won the first meeting by 18 and I expect this time around it will be worse. The Drop Bears will run the ball around 25 times and just air it out behind Waffle. The Raptors just won't be able to keep it up. The defensive morale will plummet with the passing attack eating them alive.
Raptors 20 - Bears 42
#6 Solomon Islands Pack (11-5)
vs
#3 Atlantis Lost Souls (13-3)
Here is a match-up of teams that meat in Game #15 just 2 games ago. As much as I want to say the Pack win the first match-up, they wont. In this game, it will be different though. The Papale bros will keep it close and this game will head to overtime. QB Alex Johnson will not pull a Daryl Hall and through the game. He will stay true to his stud form and through for 300 yards and 3 scores. In the end though, the dynamic duo at WR in Papale and Nilsson prove to be too much.
Pack 33 - Souls 30 (OT)
#7 Blood Gulch Pumas (9-7)
vs
#2 Cocaine Cowboys (15-1)
These 2 teams met 2 weeks prior so the Pumas may be able to make adjustments. If they can stop the run and not let Hanel make the Pumas defense his personal bitch, then the game may be close. It won't happen though. Hanel is THE best back in Alpha. At halftime the Pumas player's wives will all give homage to Hanel in the locker room. It may tire him out after losing that much bodily fluid, but it will actually pump him up. Look for him to get 250 yards rushing and 5 TDs.
Pumas 9 - Cowboys 50 (Hanel will impregnate at least 10 Pumas player's wives)
2ND ROUND!!!!
#4 Bundaberg Drop Bears (13-3)
vs
#1 Berlin Devine Right (15-1)
The first time these 2 quality teams met, it was a 14 point win for BDR. These 2 teams are very evenly matched and the difference in the first meeting was the running of Rickey Watters. He is a beast and a terror for defenses. He will do it again and get 120 yards on the ground and 2 TDs. The Drop Bears were not able to run the first game, and that will happen again. The Right secondary is the best in the league and with CB Mike Vogt locking down WR Boy, there won't be many open men for Waffle to pass to. The speed of the BDR LBs will also play a key factor in this game. Drop Bears better find a hole to exploit or it will be another long game.
Drop Bears 17 - Right 27
#6 Solomon Islands Pack (11-5)
vs
#2 Cocaine Cowboys (15-1)
The Cowboys will lick their chops as soon as they find out that the Souls have been upset. But if they take the Pack lightly they will be crying after the game. The Boys are very good at taking away strengths so Nilsson and Papale may not get the love they are used to. The Pack will need a big game from Danny Hernandez on the ground to keep this one close. Unfortunately for jpt79 and his boys, the Cowboys have Marcus Hanel (AKA the Human Pretzel). He wont run through you, but he will run through you. His moves are so sick you will break your knee and your elbow on the same move. He will single handily crush the Packs defense.
Pack 23 - Cowboys 46
ALPHA CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!
#2 Cocaine Cowboys (15-1)
vs
#1 Berlin Devine Right (15-1)
This is the rematch everyone and their mothers and wives (especially the ones impregnated by Hanel) want to watch. The regular season meeting was a 1 point victory for the Right on a Cowboys missed XP. These 2 teams are very even and its very tough to pick a winner. The Right will have Watters and Benbrook to lead the way and the Cowboys will have Hanel. Both defenses are very stout against the run so the best passing day will win this game. I fully expect both team to pound the rock and to have between 145 and 160 rushing yards so the QBs will be big. The Right have the advantage at QB and WR. The WRs for the Cowboys are good, but the ones on the Right are better and defiantly deeper. The Right will use them and come away victorious by more then 1 point this time. This may go down as the game of the year in Alpha. I fully expect a last second win or OT to decide this one.
Cowboys 24 - Right 27
