So I have limited to just the playoff contenders. I didnt add the Lions in, although its possible, just highly unlikely.

I want to point out that if the top 4 win the ones they are supposed to and the Vikes drop to the Chicken, Mani beats the Cards we will have a 4 way tie for first in which all 4 hold tie breaks over the others. That would then force the deciding factor to total points scored according to GLBwiki. I believe I am correct on this, let me know if I overlooked something. That, my friends, is parity.

Cincinnati Cardinals: 9.5 Previous: 10
Sweet, sweet infant Jesus is smiling down on us CA#5 dotballers this fine day. The Death Star has been eliminated, striking a blow to the Empire, courtesy of a young Viking that was born to a man that wears a cape and lots of plastic appliances, his sister, unknown to him, was.....well you guys know the rest. One gleaming benefit of this upset is that we can all stop hating on the Red Birds. I have to tell my loyal readers that I always kinda liked them. It just makes me feel better about my own team now that they got their beak cracked. It appears to be an amazing sim. 9 FGs and only one TD, both teams with 280 yards of offense. Both averaging around 4 yards passing and rushing. No turnovers. Just the kinda game a DC loves to see. Respect to both Ds. Oh so important is the Maul matchup week 16. Matchup: Lions

Vancouver Vikings: 9.5 Previous: 9.25
So, um, you guys must think your sexy today. Got a short, slimming black dress with your 'fancy' panties on? Well you have earned it. Outstanding effort and gameplanning, both teams appeared to have the right idea. The Vikes definitely have the defense firing. What are you going to do about the Chicken? Week 16 is everything. Matchup: Moosers

North Bay Drift: 9.5 Previous: 9
Demos have been Drifted, get the snow dogs out. 500+ yards offense, only 99 yards given up. Slam, Bam, Thank you mam. Couple tests left for the Drift in the Thunderknowns, Fish and Drags. Matchup: Thunderknowns

Manitoba Maulers: 9.5 Previous: 9
Mani stuck the axe handle to the Drags. Solid O as usual with 400+ yards, like FedEx they were effective air and ground. The Mani D drank the Canada milkshake allowing a paltry 90 yards, setup by 10 sacks. Those DEs are just bullys. Sit back, Mani, enjoy some beer and nuts for the next 2 gimme games, you are going to need your energy for the finale hosting the Cards. It means everything. Matchup: blank, then blank and then the Cards
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Edmonton Thunderchiefs: 8 Previous: 8
Ed touched the Rancho team for 47 in a healthy beating. 633 of offense will get it nearly every time. 36/55 for 8.5 average passing is legit. Big question I have for the Knowns is "How big are your balls?" Hosting the Drift then the Chicken. So how bad to you want it. You are going to have to prove your position now. I think the Chicken has a real desire for your 5th seeding. Matchup: Drift

Arroz Con Pollo: 8 Previous: 7.5
Crazy Chicken. Dodged one at home. Good Mooser squad but that maybe should not have been that close. Late TD with just 2 to go sealed it. However that came after 3 back to back to back 4th quarter TDs from the Moose. The Moose appeared to pick apart the Chicken secondary going 7.2 per pass. You are going to need that Chicken strut back for closing games hosting the Thunderknowns and the Vikes. Those are likely must wins for playoff seeding. Of course anywhere you finish could mean the Drift, Mani, Vikes or Red Birds. To be honest I am not sure any are preferable. Matchup: Rancho.

Moose Jaw Roughriders: 7 Previous: 6.5
Dimmy downplays this squad, or did in last weeks comments. However I see a Toosie Roll center. How many licks does it take? Excellent outing in the Chicken Coop. Nice late push, productive passing game. Big weakness in this one was your struggles with the Pollo rushing game (7.1 average for 300+). It does not get easy for the Moose. Right on the cusp of the playoffs you are going to need some good wins. Vikings and Lions stand in the way. Matchup: Vikes

Canada Dragons: 6.5 Previous: 6.5
Drags got Mauled by Mani. Very few positives for your boys in that one. Mani just had too much for you. You learned your lesson, 'Just the tip' doesn't really mean 'Just the tip'. However, you have to like your playoff positioning a little. Looks like you hold only a tie break over the Moose for the teams that are your counterparts. With some help you may even be ok with a loss to the Drift week 16. However you are going to need wins over FMMP and Demos. That is going to take some attention. Matchup: FMMP

Victoria Fish: 5 Previous: 6
FMMP dropped a tea bag on your chin. Very poor outing for you guys. You had a opportunity to secure your playoff spot, but you did not need to wet fart that one. Personally I don't think you can keep up with the Moosers over the last 3. Moosers can pick up 2 more wins and I am not certain that you can beat more than 1 of your remaining with the Demos, Drift and Knowns. However, the opportunity is there if you guys really want it. I know you guys have some man hate for me and I have earned it. However, for your levels and experience I really think you should have been able to compete with at least the second tier CA#5. and possibly the top tier. Prove me wrong now and scratch your way in. Matchup: Demos

Cheers!

Nicely done once again. Also limiting to teams in playoff contention is a good idea at this point. Couple of really big games these last few weeks.

Awesome job man. Hopefully I won't lose to the Chickens, as I think my boys get screwed hard if it comes down to points scored. And yes, today is a sexy day.

Thanks for the rankings! lol@just the tip.

Canada beat us head to head, are ahead of us in the standings. They deserve to be higher ranked than us at this time.

Yeah pretty annoying to hold them until the 4th and then allow 3 TDs and let them throw all over us...

I can respect that opinion, Dimmy, and you could very well be right. I do have them separated by just .5 points. I think both teams have outstanding leadership and game planning skills. However my opinion in this case is based on the output of the 2 teams against the best of the conference.

Moose has been consistently better in most all of those games. Both in offensive output and defensive competence.

As far as the Moose loss to the Drags, I don't really base the rankings simply on wins and losses. If I did there would be no need for rankings as you could just go to the league page.

Take todays rankings, I have the top 4 even at 9.5. Because I believe the 4 teams are just that, even. Even though the Drift has lost to both the Vikes and Cards. You look at Mani. Mani has beaten the Vikes handily but lost to the Chicken and Drift. The Cards escaped the Pollo and dropped to the Vikes.

So its really not about who beat who, but more about the team as a whole. Performance even in losses.

So all that to say I feel like the Moose is a bit (a .5 bit) better than the Dragons.

Just my take.

You are correct about the tie breaker scenario. We have 2 cupcakes to push our point totals up. Then of course we have the daunting task of beating Cincinnati and Arroz taking out the Vikes. It is very exciting coming down to the wire!

That's one thing that really sucks for us is that we played Laval early before they sold. It was a tight game. Then we got the Quitters the game before they quit.

gee.

We'll drop the Vikes if you promise to throw the playoff game if we play you LOL

Sure, we wouldn't be playing you until the conference championship, so that works for me.
