Welcome to Week 13 of TWIA!!!! This is the snow storm edition thanks to the huge storm in VA right now making my day crappy. After last weeks thrilling game of BDR vs Cowboys (which is well worth watching), what does this week have in store for us? The playoff seeds have almost been set in stone and only the 8th spot is up for grabs between the Raz and Panthers. The Panthers have no tie breakers so they will need major luck to eek into the playoffs. Now, onto the analysis!

Phoenix Eagles vs Blood Gulch Pumas

The Eagles playoff shot isn't mathmatically gone, but lets be real here. They have no tie breaker wins and have the Pumas and Raz on their schedule. They have to win both to have a shot. There only easy win is the Pigs, and they aren't garaunteed to win that one either. The Pumas are coming off a very impressive loss to the Bears. They only lost by 11 to the #3 best team in the conference. If the Pumas lose this game they face the Cowboys next so thats not a favorable matchup for a team that is desperate for wins. The Eagles have the offense behind league leading QB Breadwinner but lack any sort of consistant defense. There defense is so bad that they become a one sided offense early and the opposition only has to defend the pass. In this game I see Kimble and Rabb combining for 175 yards on the ground and Masters just running in the secondary uncovered. Pumas will end the Eagles playoff hopes.

Upset potential

Eagles 17 - Pumas 30

Texas Storm vs Berlin Devine Right

BDR is trophy hunting these last 3 games. They have home field locked up so they are just gearing up for the playoffs.

Storm 0 - Right 255+

Cocaine Cowboys vs Rekohu Raptors

*****GAME OF THE WEEK*****

This game doesn't have the luster it had at the beginning of the season. Both teams were supposed to be undefeated or have no more then 1 loss. Well, the Cowboys have held up their end, but the Raptors have not. They have lost 3 games this season and they were favored in all of them. The Pack revealed the Raptors weakness and the Souls and Bears have exploited it. The Cowboys rely on the run and don't have the passing attack that those 3 others teams have. The Raptors secondary is weak, but their run defense is stout. Something or someone will have to give in this game. The Boys better come out passing to set up the run or else they may lose their 2nd game in a row. The Raptors need to win out or else they are in danger of falling to the #6 seed. The Raptors have a matchup with the Storm after this and then a week 16 mathcup with BDR. The Raptors could easily finish out the season 1-3. But is that so bad? Right now they are schedule to face the Bears in round 1. If they lose to the Cowboys and Right they will face the Souls in round 1. With all due respect to the Souls, but the Bears are clearly better then they are so the Raptors may welcome that matchup better. I have a feeling that this game will be closer then people think. Cowboys HB Hanel will have to be big time inorder for this game to go in their favor, but can he? I'm not so sure. Boys will have to use QB Simpleton in order to gain huge chunks of yards on 2nd and 3rd down and I dont know if his WRs can do it.

Cowboys 20 - Raptors 21 (this time it won't be by a missed XP)

Atlantis Lost Souls vs Williamsburg Colonials

The Souls have a stranglehold on the #3 playoff seed and after they win this game they will clinch it. The Colonials suck and need to be relegated, but they just don't suck good enough (story of my marriage) and the Chickens and Storm have relegation on lock down. Souls win big with a huge passing day from stud QB Alex Johnson. How do you increase your QB rating of 110 higher? You play the Colonials.

Souls 120 - Colonials 6

Bundaberg Drop Bears vs Wellington War Pigs

WTF is a war pig? And can a pig beat a bear? Hell f-ing no. Pigs aren't out of the playoffs by math, but they are by talent. They won't come close to winning this game and if they do lead in this game at all its because they got hte ball first and some how managed to get a couple first downs. The Bears are bascially locked to the #4 seed and a how playoff game. The only thing they don't know is who they will face. Will it be the Raptors or Pack?

Bears 83 - Pigs 7

Solomon Islands Pack vs Sandersville WarChickens

The Pack boast the 2nd longest winning streak in Alpha at 6 games. It will be at 7 after this one. The Chickens somehow got blown out by the Storm. They are just terrible.

Pack 255+ - Chickens 0

Memphis Kings vs Redcliff Razamanaz

After winning last week in a must win game, the Raz find themselves in the drivers seat for the 8th playoff spot. The Kings have an outside chance at the post season if they win out, but thats not going to happen. The Raz will feed George the ball and ride the horse to victory. The Kings wont know what happened after George runs through them. The Raz face teh Bears next week in a game they will lose so they must win this game and their last game against the Eagles, which is a very winnable game for them.

Kings 13 - Raz 38

Seattle Panthers vs South Sydney Rabid Rabbitohs

If the Panthers want to make the playoffs in season 7, they need to find a time machine and go back 1 game and beat the Raz. If they didn't choke and won that game they would have clinched the #8 seed. Now they need luck and to somehow find a way to beat the Pack in game #16. Lucky for them they have 2 easy games until that pivotal game versus the Pack. They drew the Rabbits this week and then the Colonials next. The Panthers will flex their muscle in this one as they beat up the grade school team.

Panthers 64 - Rabbits 16

POWER RANKINGS

1. Right
2. Pack
3. Souls
4. Cowboys
5. Bears
6. Raptors
7. Razamanaz
8. Pumas
9. Panthers
10. Kings

Nice write up!

But maybe you should do some editing on your Game of the week.
I don't think the Storm have revealed any of the Raptors weakness, since they have not played yet.
And I don't understand what the Bears Defense has to do with this game.

lol. Sorry. It was busy at work the past couple days and I was doing like 5 things at once. I meant Pack instead of Storm and the Raptors secondary and not Bears. I'll go edit it now.

I was going to do that today but with the snow storm I didn't have time. I'll probably do it tomorrow since I'll be calling in sick.

"With all due respect to the Souls, but the Bears are clearly better then they are..."

So how are the bears (did that on purpose) better then souls? Did the 25 point win during the regular season mean nothing?

Anomaly. Do you honestly think you could beat them that bad again? No way.

We had a few AI issues that were resolved immediately after that game... So I call a scrimmage if we do not end up playing once again in the playoffs.

Us too...we had no DC and no AI set on D. So, we both did not have our AI's working and we beat you by 25. Mano y Mano we won! Agreed, if we do not meet again we will scrimmage. Always love playing you guys!

Of course you could. But I think the (Drop) Bears are a bit better. See I added Drop this time.

Dammit, I liked hearing good things about the Bears!

If only we could play the Lions everygame of the season, then we could be above .500!
