Top 5 with 17 pancakes just says your team isn't very good. It is not a reflection on your build. Backup players tend to get more pancakes because they face competition that the starters have tired out a bit. Pancakes are not a good way to measure the performance of your player.
Vision, confidence, and stamina can be trainined. Get your strength and blocking up to 68 unequipped and get your agility up to 60 (at least) unequipped.
The pancake SA is a waste, so stay away from it. Unless Bort changes the code to make it worthwhile it only really works when you have your opponent totally dominated and you don't really need pancakes at that point anyway.
For your build you should probably stay away from the strenght based SAs because your player is not very strong compared to the DTs you will normally face.
Of course the Hands SA is a total waste and only put points into it as a stepping stone. There is a good chance that this SA will be replaced with something else in the next season or two.
When you are building SA's, concentrate on getting one or two up to high levels, try to avoid spreading points all over on the SA's so that you don't wind up with a lot of Specail Abilities that are not very special.
