So I awoke this morning to find out that mine and my roommate's cars had their tires slashed sometime last night. Now we don't have many enemies, actually none at all. But we live in an apartment complex and we have neighbors. We can't really think of any other people that know that we live together and what cars we drive. So, what do we do. Confront them with baseball bats and go Jack Bauer on them until they confess? We've already called the cops and they didn't do anything. This sucks.

I had that happen to me a couple years ago back when I lived in an apartment complex..Pretty much all the cars in the parking lot got there tires slashed....Turns out it was some young punks who had been going around to various area's and slashing tires.
All of them (3) I think were around 14 years old, so all they ended up getting was some community service.
I had filed a police report and got the parents to pay for the cost of 2 new tires that were slashed.

Sometimes its better to right off the people you KNOW wouldnt do something like that then go from there.

Yea, I'm thinking it's our neighbors. They are the only ones who know who we are and what we drive. It can't be coincidence that mine and my roommate's were the only ones. I feel like it was targeted.

Eh well if it was some random people then they would of done the cars around you too and not just yours and your roommates so you can toss out the notion that it was random. It has to be someone you know and by what your saying friends or an ex has nothing to do with it. So I would assume it is your neighbors. I would just let it go for now and just keep a close eye on your neighbors. Just try to catch them in an act of doing another bad thing and then thats when you kick the living shit out of them.
