Lots of great games this week. Dragons and Shams battled it out to the end with Dragons scoring the winning points with 1:23 left in the game. First half of Stallion Pirate game all FGs, 2nd half all TDs. Pirates just not able to close the gap in the end losing by 3. Bastards squeek by Doom winning by a point. In Oslo-Red Light game, Red Lights just not able to convert to TDs. If all those FGs would have been TDs, it would have went to overtime.
So at the end of week 11, the standings get mixed up again and there are still 10 teams that have the potential to be in the playoffs. Assassins sitting at 9th, have the same record as the 4 teams above them. And the Stallions are only one behind that. Probably safe to say that Oslo and Dragons are in the playoffs, but everyone else in the top 10 still needs to look over their shoulder.
Week 12:
Oslo vs Tofu. Oslo will get a work out, but the Tofu defense doesn't look strong enough to hold Oslo's running game at bay. Oslo wins.
Dragons vs Red Lights. Red Lights lost against Oslo, but made a reasonable showing. Both teams playing strong right now. Once again I think the Red Lights will just get overpowered. Dragons win.
Bastards vs Terror. When no one was looking Bastards snuck into 4th place. Both teams about the same level, but Terror is having trouble getting traction this season. Bastards win.
Doom vs Cards. Doom looking for revenge, takes it out on the Cards. Doom wins.
Shams vs Huskies. Shams lost last two, get to turn it around. Shams win.
Pirates vs Assassins. This could be a great game. Assassins looking to take Pirates spot and move to the playoffs. I can hear those temp boost tokens falling in to the used box now. Pirates win in close game.
Stallions vs CPU-dogs. Stallions kick the dogs into the corner. Stallions win.
Trawlers vs Zurich. Both teams un-undefeated. Trawlers get to show what they can do. Trawlers win.
Games of the week: Hmmm, going with Pirates vs Assassins.
