As the title says.. good game.. I was curious as to who would have won this game.

Yup. I was expecting the outcome, but not the result. Rome seems to need some OL help and more speed on defense if they want to beat Blackpool in the playoffs with this game plan.

I was a little surprised by the final score too.
I expected to win, but not by such a large amount. I was thinking a late score to give us a 17 point win.
Not to dominate from start to finish in a 48 point blow out.

Not to be a dick, but didn't wolfbatt and I tell you guys at the end of last season to beware of the Scourge? That we were going to be a force in this league?
Just wanted to pat myself on the back for making that call. Now my should hurt from patting myself on the back so much.
Seriously though, it has been really cool seeing how much can be done in such a short time. I am looking forward to playing the Gladiators and Nuts again in the playoffs, and hopefully the Mud Dogs or Nessies in the Championship.
I can't wait to see the Alph Championship preview tomorrow. Good luck to both Lochness and Manchester.

Lochness and Mud Dogs will be a nice showdown. Top two teams all season in Alpha. Should be a tight game...up until Lochness handled Copenhagen today i would have said the Mud Dogs win...but now I think it's a FG game going either way.
Looks like the top 4 with home playoffs games in Alpha are set unless we have some upsets, which could happen. 5-8 is going to be thunderdome.

I'd watch out for Blackpool, but we can't see them from all the way up here in first place*.
* Seriously though, I think Blackpool is probably the scariest team in the league right now. Not looking forward to a potential playoff match-up with them.

The upside would be that the only way that the Scourge would meet the Nuts in the playoffs would be in the Conference Championship game (Which seems like the most likely match up). So at least you will be able to cruise up to that point.

GG Blackpool. You guys moved the ball at will on our defense, and took us out of our gameplan on offense early. We'll see you in the second round of the playoffs.
