The season is officially half done and I see three Alpha teams that look like they are counting on playoff money to make payroll, one of which might not hold out that long or make enough even if they get there. They better sell lots of nachos.

Only one in imminient danger over in Zeta, with two others that may need to count every dime.

Agree, seems a little silly. Might as well "hide" it in stadium upgrades, it might just get spent (forever) in equipment fund.

I drop a good amount in the fund and let it sit there. Carnage at the moment has 2 mil in the fund, just waiting to get used.

Well, the whole thread was pointing out that a few teams don't appear to have enough cash to make payroll through the season. Yeah, if you have the money, and your stadium is in decent shape, you ought to be putting money into equipment. If you don't though, putting it there to be spent when you can't make payroll, is well, dumb, unless you plan on gutting.

And again, what point in "hiding" money in the equipment fund, if you aren't allocating it? Well, unless it is just to be deceiptful to your players so you can deny them equipment.

Okay. And that's helpful how? I'm just trying to figure out what the advantage of 'hiding' funds in there is.

I guess it will just be one of life's little mysteries for me.
