Heidelberg Hitmen @ East Cairo Argonauts
Arganauts are the only undeafeted team left in Alpha have the number 2 ranked D and the number 2 ranked rushing O. Hitmen come fresh off a superb win against Dream and will be looking to string together a few wins in the push toward the playoffs. Hitmen match up pretty well against the Argonauts and could cause an upset. Arganauts game planning though has been exceptional all season and take the victory.

Stockholm Black Death @ Passion Fruits
After a slow start to the season Black Death have won 6 straight games. Fruits have been more than solid all season only having lost 1 game. The big question in this game is can Black Deaths pass D cope with the number 1 ranked passing O. I dont think they can and Fruits take this in a close one

Ingolstadt Hat Tossers @ Warfield Hellbringers
Hat Tossers had their first loss of the season last week against the Popes and Hellbringers had a huge win against Ruminants. Hat Tossers do have the number 1 ranked D though and Hellbringers O has not, so far at least, dominated as much as I think it could. If Hellbringers can get that O going then it should be a great game. Hat Tossers win this in a close run affair due to their superior game planning.

Barcelona Cock N' Bulls @ Vatican City Fighting Popes
Cock N Bull are on a 3 match unbeaten run but once again look to have some chemistry issues with their chemistry down to 45. Popes had a major boost last week with their terrific win over the previously undefeated Hat Tosser. Popes win this one with their great game planning and the chemistry issues at Cock N Bull

Red River Ruminants @ Amsterdam Dragon's
Red River are going through a minor dip in their results at the moment having lost their last 2 games. Dragons have yet to find a winning formula with only 2 wins so far this season. Red River get their momentum going again with a comfortable win here

Cambridge Chieftains @ Tilburg Dream
Both teams will be looking for a win here as they make a play for getting a low end spot in the playoffs. Dream had a bad defeat last week and continue to under achieve given the level of talent on the roster and Chieftain continue to be a side that makes the most of what limited talent it has. Dream win this one as their levels prove far too much for Chieftains to overcome on both sides of the ball

Qidan Beggar's Sect @ Nikopolis Stoic Hedonists
Slow build Beggers Sect face up to a buzzed Hedonists team who won their fist game for 23 matches last week. Hedonists liked that winning feeling and get another dose of it this week and double their longest winning steak ever by taking it to 2 games

Inverness Monsters @ Zurich Lions
Lions roar to victory over the Monsters in a one sided affair.

Hmm a good question. I was torn between the two games as is often the case and had to pick one of them,. I picked the one that I think is going to be the closer of the two. Take that as a compliment Faedie, it means I think your Fruits are more of a lock to win than Merenoise's Hat tossers

Ummm...I beg to differ here. We are #1 in rushing defense in terms of yards allowed/game. We are #1 in passing defense in terms of yards allowed/game. We have 1,000 more rushing yards than anyone else in the conference. How the heck are we the #2 ranked rushing offense, sir?

Argos over Hitmen by 24.

Chieftains vs. Tilburg is GOW to me...probably Tilburg by 4.

I was right on about all but the Tossers game. Of course, I ALWAYS pick the Tossers to lose, ever since last season, right merenoise?

Its a script McGovern that comes up with the rankings not me. Would strongly suspect though it is because there are 8 teams who average more yards / carry than you do, 7 teams with more rushing TD's than you do. and 1 team with more rushing yards than you do.

I will however grant you that you have had more rushing attempts than any other team.

As far as your pass D. I would assume that it is ranked 2 because London Pulse allow less yards / game than you and both hat Tossers and London Pulse have allowed less passing TD's

I think we can right the ship after the ugly game we played yesterday. I personally blame the hangover all my GMs had from my party.

Actually, They are not #1 in the LEAGUE but are #1 in the CONFERENCE.
