i dont really want to go up, not financially ready, but support probably wont care. the 4 west rivals will get promoted.... only Kingston and sackville should be promoted from the east.

There is another 2 in AAA also and another 1 in Pro! Last season we were at like 13 at this point in the season so there is a good chance the top 3-4 teams go up from each conference for a total of 6-8 teams.

If you aren't ready to go up you may have to throw the first game to not get promoted!

Financially we will be ready since our stadium will be done at the start of next season...but it will be another tough season like last season was if we get promoted. Middle of the pack again!

honestly its so volatile this season its way risky. if 5 teams go up, which seems unlikely at this point but still possible, you could still go up depending on tie-breakers. plus theres so many teams going up, the average level wont be that much higher than ours currently is.

I'm pretty sure we finished 6th last season and the 5 above us got promoted so...yeah....if we don't get promoted....it's going to have to come from an awful collapse

Read that, it tells the order of promotion. Right now there are seven CPU teams above this league. If one more team goes CPU, which would make eight, then every team who wins their first round playoff game will get promoted. If there are more than eight CPU teams above us by the time promotion is processed, a team that lost its first round playoff match could even get promoted. But also keep in mind that if 7+ teams from this league get promoted and yours is one of them, there will be at least 6+ in AA next year that you know you can compete with...

unless they play the Kingston Dark Knights of course!

Only one correction...those 8 would be filled by A1 and A2 so it would be about 4 from each league. This also isn't perfect because our records versus A1's records would decide who goes up...so 6 could go from A2 and 2 from A1 depending on all of those tiebreakers.

Right now A1 and A2 would take the 5 spots...a1-a4 Split the 2 spots and a1-a8 split the 1 CPU spot.

Also this is calculated after natural promotion so if it was 6 teams which divides to 3 per A League then it would actually mean promotion for the top 4 teams in each A league. So right now it is pretty much a lock if you make the Conference Championship you are gone!

well, if we go we go....we are sticking to our team. If we get promoted and go 0-16 we will be back here. I'm not worried, it will all play out.

Yeah whoops, I had simplified it way too much in my head. Thanks for clarifying, I forgot about all those other leagues.

I like how teams and leagues get screwed by an idiotic promotion system because some of the teams in higher leagues are upset that gutted opponents make their stats realistic. Seriously, realistic stats are more important than the health of non-gutted teams? Plus a lot of the teams from last offseason who didn't feel like they were ready for a promotion ended up gutting, just making the problem worse. I think the GLB staff has about five brain cells between them.
