I just rolled 3 very capable pieces of Advanced Equipment for a LT, which do you think would be best?

1) +2 Agility +1 Foundation
2) +2 Agility +1 Quick Cut
3) +1 Protector

Good roll. Yesterday I rolled 3 not so hot pieces (for an OT).
+1 quick cut - eh.
+1 line general & 2% break block chance - for those not aware, line general only helps offense when you are playing the Center position.
+2 stamina & +1 big hit - stamina ok, but big hit's for tackling, not blocking.

Can't beat protector for an LT. Despite the lack of other attributes, thats the one I'd grab

I'd go #1 or #3 - are you exclusively an LOT? If so, you can't really beat Protector, even with that +2 Agi on #1. If you backup at ROT too then I'd go #1.

Agreed. Protector is the best SA for a LOT by far, even if you just back up. And even if you play ROT now, I'd still get it. Protector and a little extra AGL/SPD is the only difference between LOT & ROT. Also, before season 6, Bort made changes to the Protector which made it more effective (it's in the changelog). To me if you plan on being a LOT or a balanced OT that can play either side you have to have it. Also, by lvl 40 that piece will have +4 protector. 18 pts will get it to a natural 6, or 10 with the ADV EQ. Without it you'll need an additional 22 pts to get to 10. So in general there is more value in getting ADV EQ that has one of you "last" SAs. When you figure in the pre-requisite SAs the savings is greater than 22 SP.

i upgraded my piece to +3 protector. thats the best piece u should get

I got a +2 Conf and +1 Protector for my LOT, was pretty pleased with that

Of all the AE I've gotten for all my players, the best started out as a +2 blocking/+1 Protector for my LT. It's now +8/+4, and I was already pushing my Protector to the cap before I got the AE.

My second favorite piece started as a no-stat, +1 Field General for my "leader build" QB. Can't beat the top tier SA if it matches your player, regardless of skills/stats.

On the flip-side, my RT had a +3 blocking/+1 Protector piece come up, and I passed on it because I didn't want to turn him into a LT He went Shock Block instead.
