Let him have his day. Stats don't mean jack half the time in my opinion. I see QBs with 3k yards and see they are solo QBs that pass all day long.
There are so many factors that go into stats that have to be looked at to see if a player is really a good player or not. And even then it isn't easy to do. But toot your horn loudly and see how you do against quality teams. That is the true test of a leader.
Because half the time the stats are real. That is why. But like legalbama pointed out so casually. Against a strong team you don't perform all that well. Let's face it, 3 punt return TDs vs. Salt Lake (no offense Salt Lake) is not a huge feat. Your KR TD and huge yardage was against another weaker team that your team crushed.
You had 1 game vs. a good team that you had a couple KRs that averaged 20. But against good teams you are averaging 18ish.
That is my point.
Like someone pointing at, look at my rushing TDs or Passing Yardage only to find they run a trick play over and over again, or getting enormous gains against weak teams.
If you are going to boast..."Can I be stopped in the return game? No, but you can try to contain me" Prove it against the best teams in the league or conference.
Legalbama just proved, YES, you can be stopped and contained.
