Game of the Week: Freetown (8-0) vs. Sierra Leone Syndicate (7-1)
TSLS is coming off of a tough loss versus the Red Sea Wave (well technically they're coming off of a big win versus Kili, but that hardly counts as a game). Freetown has been on a role this season and is sitting on top as the long undefeated team left in the conference. Freetown is going to have a difficult time running against Sierra Leone and the game should come down to if Freetown can have success in the passing game without abandoning the run. Bottom line Freetown has won too many close games and I think they'll lose one eventually this year and I think this is the one.
Freetown 23 - Syndicate 27

Côte d'Ivoire Rebels vs. Warriors of Anubis
The Rebels have had a pretty good season this year, but they're really no match for the Warriors and their stout defense. They're going to have to get some turnover and big plays to win this one, but the Warriors are just too good for them.
Rebels 10 - WoA 54

Red Sea Waves vs. Atlantic Blue Jays
Blue Jays players above 36: 8
Red Sea Wave players below 40: 3
Move on
Wave 74- Blue Jays 10

Band of Brothers vs. African Fire
The Brothers are coming off of a big win versus newcomer Carthage while the Fire just lost a game to fellow bottom feeder Congo. The Brothers have a great running and passing offense which will make it almost impossible to shut down when you're outmatched by this much.
BoB 56 - Fire 16

Zulu Death Warriors vs. Madagascar Black Mambas
I really don't know what to make out of these two teams. Both have played pretty much the same schedule with pretty much the same result against the teams in common. Zulu has been more impressive in those wins though. Zulu really hasn't adjusted well to this league in the passing department (less than 50% passing percentage) and the Mambas have a good pass D statistically. Should be a good game and I hate going against Sharpy, but:
Zulu 20 - Mambas 24

Morocco Loco Siroccos vs. Carthage War Elephants
We know each other well from our days in A2 Lion. Carthage has beaten us the past two years and last year was a stomping. Both teams have made some key additions since they're last matchup and hopefully its much closer than last years. Carthage lost a close one to Band of Brothers last week and I think they'll squeak one through this week.
Morocco 31 - Carthage 34

Congo Lions vs. Congo NGL
This battle for the Congo won't even be close. Lions win big.
Lions 149 - NGL 0

Kilimanjaro Kamikaze vs. Burundi Hutu
I can't think of a better way to stop a 5 game skid than a game against Kili.
Kili 0 - Burundi 255

I'll get rankings up after these games are completed too.

I'm just sayin'. Your track record predicting our games isn't that great. Everyone else you're pretty accurate.

Sierra Leone beats Freetown 36-35. Must have been a great game and it really is looking tight at the top of the Lion Conference now.

This is why we should be able to onside kick. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=310418&pbp_id=7643467

Game is over after that and Palookas had no control over it from there.

GG Sierra. When you play so many close games, you're bound to lose one. I shall gladly accept my serving of humble pie.
