Tenerife came so close to giving the Vacationers their first loss, had even taken the lead in the 4th Qtr with under 5 minutes to go, but could not contain the powerful Vacationers offense. Kudos to both coaches and teams on an excellent game.

*I feel pretty satisified with these rankings with a minor exception. I am starting to believe I may have the weight of Strength of schedule for wins a little too high. I say this because Mobile Red Elephant Club beat Desert Vultures this week, giving them equal records, but still find themselves 6 slots below the team they beat. The reason for this is that one of the Desert Vultures wins was against our #2 ranked team Dubrovnik Destroyers. I am going to leave the calculations as they are for now, but may scale back the weight of strength of wins in future rankings.

The Dreams are moving on up.

It has a lot to do with the outstanding punting.

Destroyers hang 94 up on the Green Hornets. We'd love to get a shot at the Vacationers at some point in time.

The Green Hornets are one of those teams that will just get worse and worse as the season goes on, i think the destroyers would come up way short if they played the Vacationers.

You probably should be considering we lost to Desert Vultures and your only loss is to the Vacationers.

Oh i think the Destoryers are a good team, probably the best in Alpha, but im not sure if their style would work against the Vacationers. Not that it's a bad style, but its not suited to a team like the Vacationers.

What would you say is our style? Just curious.

It looks good but I struggle to see how the Phoenix dropped 4 spots over a 3 point OT loss to the 3rd ranked team. But without looking at how the 4 teams in front of us did I really can't say much. Thanks for the powerranking

I actually had that observation when I first ran the rankings, so did look at what caused it.

*edit* Three *end edit* of the teams going into the week had equal records to you, but were slightly behind due to margin of victory. Those 3 teams won giving them an overall better record and overcoming the difference that your MoV had. Also, because the combined record of the 3 teams that the phoenix have beat is a measly 5-23, those wins do not weight quite as high as say Shiner bocks who have the same W-L record, but whose wins came against teams with a combined 10-18 record.

All the teams you've lost to are above you, and all the teams you lost to are above you, so overall, it seems to match the results.

Forgot to say nice work by the way. Team up with emericaous and at the very least lighten the load for both of you.
