I know Nova Scotia hasn't had the easiest of schedules, but a little surprised about #4.

What exactly does Quality of Play mean?

Quality of play is probably a differential of what you're rated at versus the ratings of the teams you played. I would be interested to see how it is being calculated.

Basically though, if you're a low team and hang-with or beat a high time, your QP would be higher if I get this..

Oooo, #1 in strength of schedule. I'd be rocking the BCS right now, lol.

I'm honestly shocked by the Mauler's 'strength of record rating. We've played some great teams and even our eastern draw was the respectable C6YP but we haven't played any of the teams above us in the current rankings.

I'm looking forward most to the Drift and dreading most the Cardinals.

This is the GLBwiki description of Quality of Play. I have no idea what it does to be honest lol

Quality of Play

Equation

Quality of Play = (Actual total point differential) - (Predicted total point differential)

Definition

It is essentially how many points (total) that team has beaten (or not beaten) the spread by. I feel it is a good indicator of whether a team is playing better or worse than expected.

-------------------------------------------------------

It deals mostly with the point spread

I dread playing both of those teams. I am only looking forward to one game: Saskatchewan Thrashers

Wait, we get the Thrashers?

I respect the Drift, I'm just interested in that matchup because they're not a #9 team. Cardinals just scare me.

Seriously, I'm already looking at the Drift...and once I play them, I'm gonna be looking at the Cardinals.

They're predicted to lose by 300 and only lose by 288, they perform well against the spread lol

So is a + or - result better?

in the power ranking a + is better. It's completely separate from what I do. I use the Power Rankings spreadsheet found on the GLBwiki page for it. The higher the number the better in the power rankings, the lower the number the better in the Bender Rankings

That is what he meant, I'm fairly sure, Blue.
