I would have thought that my blocking bar would be solid green by now. Here is my build what have I done wrong where should I be focusing?

I am training Vision and Confidence right now and putting SP into Speed and Agility. The real numbers for strength and blocking are in () PM me with thoughts.

I'm at lvl 44 and have both bars green. My str is about 5 pts higher, blocking and speed are the same, agility is 8 points higher, vision, stamina and confidence are all about 10 points higher.

^ His numbers are for a C, not a G - so are not entirely relevant to your situation.

As for your G, you seem to have taken Str and Blk to 68 a little late, several people with big bars have them 72+ by now (in some cases 75+).

You bar will change colour on the next level up. I'd recommend a bit more agility (to 60) immediately.

Confidence, vision, and stamina will also help the bars, although I forget by how much. Concentrate on taking these higher with the next few levels, and not putting more into SAs until that is done.

Don't bother spending any more points in the Pancake SA especially. At least for the next couple of seasons.

Ya, I was one of those who put crap in the SA tree early. My Pancake abilities come from Custom Equipment and Advanced Equipment, I find that it is overrated, I just want to provide protections for my QB and make some holes for my RB, I don't care about the stat.

I have been Training Vision and Confidence and Working on Speed and agility with SP's I will concentrate on agility more to get it up to 60, and higher.

My C has a 63 bar at level 24, but I'm a slowbuild.
My G has 51 bar at level 17, and I expect to make it around level 24 also
My OT took until level 43, horrible non slowbuild, hehe

I think any reasonably built o-lineman who doesn't slowbuild should get them at like
C-32
G-34
OT-35

Look around at the good teams in the lower leagues, and that's probably what you'll see.

Also check the stickied topic, I decomposed the blocking bar formula into a rough approximation

0.46 * BLK + 0.21 * STR + 0.07 * VIS + 0.10 * AGI + 0.10 * CONF I believe it was...

So how soon you get there is really just a function of how fast you take blocking to 68 at the start of your build.

str/blk to 68 before even thinking about doing anything else, while training agility + vision after the first caps made.

Multiple linear regression, unfortunately results are only approximate due to rounding in the bars

Make sure you have strength and blocking 3rd capped(I'm sure they are just from leveling).

Agility, stamina, and confidence all have a large effect on the bars as well. I'd say around 40% of the overall/blocking.

Blocking/Strength have the biggest effect on the bars as they are the most important. Around 60%.

This is all my ideas, so take them for what it's worth.


After reading the above poster, my #'s were rough, but close.
