Well, the Niners shocked the world by upsetting their second straight undefeated team, but the ranking machine didn't think much of it, as the Niners are still stuck at #6 in the rankings today.

In fact, the top 3 remains unchanged, and the Pecs only dropped a single spot in the rankings for their loss to Portland. If I were plugging a human element into this, I'd have the Niners ranked #4, but, alas, I gotta keep it honest, so the computer's say is final....

Not much overall motion, really. The biggest mover this week was the Sooner Syndicate, who took a big dive thanks to their upset loss to the Berlin Crusaders. An honorable mention to the Dresden Doomsday, who picked up three spots after taking out their frustrations from losing to the Chiefs last week on the Dayton Outlaws.

I was only half-kidding about the "3rd grader" crack.

Pecs have us beat in strength of victory (14-12, worth 6 points) and Gods have us beat big time in MoV (421-310, worth 11.1 points)

We put an ass-whoopin' on the Roids tomorrow, we'll close both those gaps and surge into 4th. Gods are up against the Raptors (probably going to be a tight one) tomorrow, and the Pecs are up against the Pirhanas - which will wind up being a wash for them versus us.

A lot of it hinges on whether the teams we already beat can pick up some games, too.

Take a chill pill, Bopper - and go vote in the poll. Just because you're way ahead of #2, doesn't mean they're not still #2.

Just in case you were burned out on the algebraic concepts, the Butchers have the best Strength of Victory in the entire conference, so you'd benefit from my adjustment.
