Roswell, Bay Area and ATK all get a first stern test this week against solid 3-2 teams as they look to confirm they're legit title contenders. Bay Area should have too much for a Blaze team coming off two straight losses, but Roswell and ATK both have a realistic shot of losing.

The other undefeated teams face 2-3 opponents, as Holly face a spirited Drunken Skulls team, and the Maulers face up against an underperforming BarStars.

In other games of interest, it's a battle for the bottom in the West, with Oakyville visiting Houston, and Austin in Tallahassee. One less 0-x team by the end of the day at least, and maybe two if Houston play poorly.

Thoughts people.

We've got our first game this season where we'll be the overwhelming favorites, then we get right back into it with our grudge match against RGB.

After that its smooth sailing till we play Bay Area at the end of the month.

We're taking every game one at a time, but its looking more and more that 13-3, 12-4, or 11-5 are legitimately possible.

I really wish that first game didn't count toward playoff seeding. We played Holly, while other teams in this league get some real cupcake games and that might determine whether or not we get a home playoff game.

I like that you guys have turned things around Dawg. Keep it up, and the seeding won't amtter! YOu will be on top!

Hat tip to the BarStars, best effort against our offence by any team this season. I would argue that Taylor saved you bacon countless times though on the run game, any missed tackle and we would have had a TD.

hey - can i get some thoughts on this play? it was ruled in complete, but it sure as heck looks like the receiver not only caught the ball, but advanced with it. not to mention there's a missed tackle on the play, and im not sure how you have a missed tackle without a completion...

You can still have it knocked loose right after the play, think there's even a VA to help do it. Seen it once before with the missed tackle as well but it's pretty rare.

Roswell was very, very luck to win their game.
With the lead Grand Haven throws 3 incomplete passes and allows Roswell enough time to score the winning TD.
3 running plays and there is now way Rosell would have scored with a minute left in the game.
