Warrior General Games

Okay, I'm not going to make a new thread each week. I will edit the latest standings on the main post and the archive of the old standings in the second post.

I used beenlurken's Pre-Season coaches poll ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1787610 ) as the base for the rankings. Alterations in the rankings on a weekly basis based on the results are found in the second post, and the latest rankings are in this post. If your team wins, you can not lose ground in this poll. I called it the VCS because, like the BCS, its easier to recover from a loss in the first week than a loss in the final week. However, unlike the BCS, losing to the first place team in the poll will not cause you to drop 10 spots in the rankings. In fact, you can still improve your ranking with a loss if teams ahead of you in the poll lose to teams ranked below them while you lose to a team ranked above you.

Apparently So Cal is OK, too, since it borders the Pacific, even if it is thousands of miles away. Orlando and Brantford? Nope. How about a team called the Cajun Crushers. Very Oceanic.

look who they played and how they played in those games i guess.

I ranked a team or 2 higher in my coaches poll than teams with better records because some teams have not played anyone yet, where a 3 loss team might have played the best in their conf

I am in no rush, and completely willing to pass on guesses for the real answer, or a let me find me out postponement.

Exactly, every team they lost to is ranked higher than them when the match took place. Until they lose to someone ranked lower than them, what justification is there to drop them in the rankings? If they keep losing, they will begin to fall. But losing to 3 of the top 4 teams in the poll is not justification to be ranked behind a team that is 2-3 with two wins coming against the 30th and 32nd place teams.

First off, I love when people do these kinds of things, so please keep going with it. At this point though I am personal not going to be giving it any weight till 2/3'sof season is done. You put way too much faith in known starting conditions.

You have the Fiji Sea Turtles 3 spots below a team they beat in Brandtford. If Brandtford had some other wins this might be understandable to me, but to be winless and ranked over a team that beat you is flawed.
