6-2 last week wasn't bad. Hopefully I'll be able to get all 8 this time.

Fhockey.com Demos vs. Los Pollos de Guantanamo: Expect Fhockey to continue their downward spiral here as the Chickens dominate.
Prediction: Yellow Rice by 21.

Rancho Penasquitos Thunderbolts vs North Bay Drift: The drift has been looking real good this season, while Rancho has played one of the toughest schedules so far. This ought to be a good matchup to watch, but I think that the Drift's gameplanning will win this one for them.
Prediction: Drift by 7.

Alberta Irukandji vs Edmonton Thunderchiefs: A few weeks back, I woulda said Alberta wins this, easy. But after losing to the Lions who the Thunderchiefs dominated, I'm going to say that the Thunderchiefs have a distinct edge here and escape from A5 is looking to be out of reach for the Irukandji.
Prediction: Thunderchiefs by 10.

Manitoba Maulers vs Manitoba Lions: A hometown battle for both teams, this ought to be another great game. The Lions give up a few levels, and the Maulers are on a rampage after being beaten by a Cuban combo meal.
Prediction: Maulers by 21.

Vancouver Vikings vs FMMP: FMMP is having no luck again this season. Hopefully Vancouver can put together something that at least looks like an offense before this game and score some points.
Prediction: Vikings by 10.

Moose Jaw Roughriders vs Victoria Fish: After a whooping by the Drift, Moose Jaw is looking to prove it belongs here. There are only a couple of teams which could give them a better chance to do so than the Fish. This ought to be an easy statement for the Roughriders to make.
Prediction: Moose Jaw by 24.

Canada Dragons vs Cincinnati Cardinals: Two geographically challenged owners square off here. While one claimed the whole country, the other said fuck that, I like it in the US better, but still plays here. Unfortunately for Canada, Cincinnati, while smaller, kicks much more ass.
Prediction: Cardinals by 21.

Saskatchewan Thrashers vs Laval Crusaders: Laval breaks 500! YAY!!
Prediction: But not on the scoreboard..Laval by 104.

Good luck to all you guys. This is one of the toughest conferences I've ever seen. Glad to be here, even when I lose.

The west is retarded good. I'd like to see how we'd fare.

Loved this gem.

Also interesting how you have one of the preseason faves, Alberta, not only losing, but not making promotion either.

thanks fo the predictions!

I think Victoria will be a close game. They pasted us the first time we played by 34
and the second game was pretty much even. They've all boosted and they've
upgraded their roster over last year too! The only reason they're not doing
better is because the WEST is so tough. If they were in the (l)East,
they would have a few more wins.

We only got a few looks at you and even the game was tainted by some AI 'oops's. That said you looked solid. I'd put both the Rats and the C6YP as competitive within the top 5 of the west from personal experience (and not just inflated stats )

Thanx 4 these. Ive been getting rid of alot of the inactives from the start of the season to improve our team. Only thing Im worried about is our chem. Ive got 2 more guys to replace this season and if we make the playoffs by that time our chem. wont be an issue.

I like it when Alberta is the underdog. I can't say I blame anyone for picking against us after the way we played. I still say we should have been advanced instead of the Prince George Warriors last season. I mean look how badly they are doing in AA.

Hey Dimmy, we've missed you around here.

Seems like you've been kinda quiet recently.

Thanks for the rankings. It's really nice when you don't just have 1 person. In our case we have a couple regular rankings and then the bender ones. I'm still not exactly sure what to make of them. It's cool to look at, ut I'm not sure if it could wind up being more accurate than what we already have.

Game time seems too far away- I am not a fan of these late ones.

Good luck to all the teams out there and remember: put the kids to bed, strap in, and check your max FG range!
(one of my other teams had a 62yrd FG kicked against them...)

Looking forward to tonight's results, especially:
Edmonton Thunderchiefs vs. Alberta Irukandji
Arroz Con Pollo vs. Fhockey.com Demos
Mighty Moncton Nighthawks vs. Nova Scotia Lions

I think this will be the 'real' test for Alberta to see if they're going to hang in the top this year. I always watch the chicken and the lions might be a sleeper in the east.

I hate it too. My other team sims at 8pm, this one at 10. Before my other team simmed at like 1pm. That was awesome.

I'm the type that never underestimates anyone. Drives Draven and Zadith nuts I'm sure, I rarely let them gloat, I'm always pushing for the next gameplan... I can definately see a lot coming out of the Lions and I know the Thunderchiefs are absolute beasts, Alberta handed us a big L but I see Thunderchiefs walking away with a big W.
