Another week is upon us, and once again we have several great games to look forward to. With everything still being close this early on, displacements can, and will, happen. Will be exciting to see who can keep up the pace, who will stumble, and who will get back on track.
Lion:
Sahara ShadowChasers at Seychelles Island Sea WolvesGAME OF THE WEEK
Without a doubt the most interesting game in Lion this week, with #1 and #3 facing off. Seychelles had an important win against MSM last week, and continue to impress. Keeps impressing, and are looking like one of the strongest teams in the league atm. Sahara have shaken of the week 1 loss to Richmond, and have won 3 games in a row, placing them at #3 currently. Sahara can move past the Sea Wolves with a win, while Seychelles will solidify their spot with a win, having 2 important tie breakers already.

Ethiopian Starvin' Marvins at Ivory Coast Diamond Hunters
Marvins won the grudge match against Fort Wayne last week, and morale is high. Currently 3-1, things are looking good. They have had one of the lightest schedules so far so far tho, and cant afford another loss already. The Hunters lost their first 2 games, but have since won 2 straight, and looks to have found the rythm. A team that has been flying under the radar, but who shouldn't be underestimated by any team.
Marvins slight favorites
Mozambique Starvin Marvins at Sun City Undertakers
Not much to say here. MSM had a close loss to Seychelles last week, but should get a comfortable win today against a weak Sun City squad. MSM have their weakest stretch of the schedule coming up, and with the loss last week, they cant afford to slip.
MSM wins big
Fort Wayne Generals at Gabon Forest Dragons
Interesting game here, between 2 teams that could be fighting it out for the #5-#8 spots. The tie breaker that comes with the win here is huge, and both teams should be geared and ready. FW last big to ESM last week, while Gabon continued the good play with a win against Tijuana.
Gabon slight favorites
Cape Verde Headhunters at Zimbabwe Beavers
CVH has had a rather tough opening schedule, but are 2-2 atm and are doing really well. Zimbabwe have had a perhaps even tougher schedule, and are 1-3 as a result. They have a very strong looking squad, but the play hasn't been flowing well so far. Things need to get better, or it will be uphill for the Beavers in the last half of the season.

South African Bulls at Tijuana Thundercats
Silly silly game, wont affect anyone else#1
Beltway Bandits at Jupiter Snipers
Silly silly game, wont affect anyone else#2
Elephant:
Mogadishu Malice at Kibwezi ChoppaholixGAME OF THE WEEK
2 of the biggest favorites for Elephant play each other in this game, and it should be a blast. Kibwezi are 4-0, and have looked very strong, and beat a couple really good teams. Mogadishu are 2-2 after a close loss to the Asps last week, and they really need this win to not fall too far behind. 3 losses after 5 weeks was not the plan for the Malice, and it would be a small disaster for the ambitious team. They will need to put pressure on Max Imus if they want to beat Kibwezi, as the league leading QB have shown great leadership and ability when things go well.
Kibwezi favorites
Tunis Asps at Real Men of Genius
2 more top teams battling it out this week, as the Asps take to the road to play the RMoG boys. The Asps have looked even stronger than expected so far, and just last week beat Richmond with a solid performance. RMoG had a big win against the Rumblers, but will have to get in a different gear completely to have a chance here.
Asps favorites
Kilimanjaro Sno-Caps at Gambia Diamond Cutters
Kilimanjaro have lived up to the expectations so far, and are sitting in #7 as part of the 3-1 pack hunting the leading group. Strong team but not mentioned much. The Cutters have performed perhaps even better than expected, and are still undefeated this year despite facing tough opponents. Last week saw a brutal beating of an otherwise strong High Plains team, and they are a true Dark Harse at this point.
Cutters favorites
San Dimas Saints at River Styx Jinx
The Jinx looks to have tome talent, but are currently 0-4, and pretty much already out of the race for the top seeds. They have had a tough schedule, but you cant loose to all the top teams and expect to be one yourself. The Saints are one of the 4-0 group, and have been solid in all facets of the game so far. It's hard to point out a weak spot, and any team will have to play up to their best when facing them.
Saints Big favorites
High Plains Drifters at Kinshasa Rumblers
Drifters beat up on Kinshasa. Silly Kinshasa
Richmond Raiders at Cairo Cannibals
These teams played each other 2 times last season in AA#!, and both times Richmond had solid wins. Cairo has brought in a good deal high lvl players this off-season tho, and arent far behind Richmond in lvl's now. Both teams really needs this win, as Richmond are surprisingly located at the very bottom, while Cairo is placed in the middle. Both teams have ambitions for top seeds, and the teams to do it, so the fans wont settle for anything less.
No favorite
African Arms Dealers at Casablanca Sultans
AAD beat the Dogs last week with a really well played game, and took a crucial step away from the bottom, passing Boston in the table. It was their first win this year, and now that they have got things going, want to start a W streak. It will be hard against a solid Sultans team tho, a team who also needs this win badly. Currently 2-2, things arent going according to plan, and a win here is a must.
Sultans Big favorites
Mozambique Thundercats at Boston Dogs
The Dogs get their 2nd win of the season here, as the Thundercats couldn't beat a hamster with a cold. Not even if the hamster had it's hands tied on it's back. Imagine that, pretty kewl huh...!?
I'm just gonna think about the hamster now, leave me alone
