Same deal in how they're picked as last week.

Top Ranked Offense
1 Kingdom of Congo Dirty Apes
2 Barbary Coast Pirates
3 Madagascar ZeroFivers * (top rushing team)
4 Ghana Woopyoass
5 StingTalk Yellow Jackets
6 West Nile Virus
7 Cape Town Airhogs
8 Swaziland Southern Brown Mambas
9 Chicago Killer Frogs
10 The Nile Denial

Top Ranked Defenses
1 Kingdom of Congo Dirty Apes
2 Barbary Coast Pirates
3 West Nile Virus
4 Swaziland Southern Brown Mambas
5 Cape Town Airhogs
6 Namibia Piranhas
7 StingTalk Yellow Jackets
8 The Nile Denial
9 Rwanda Headhunters
10 Ghana Woopyoass

Apes also have the top ranked Special Teams Unit.
Somalia Warlords are the top passing team although unranked.

Africa AA 2 Top 10:
1. Chicago Killer Frogs (4-0)
2. West Nile Virus (4-0)
3. Kilwa Polar Bears (3-1)
4. Rwanda Headhunters (3-1)
5. Ghana Woopyoass(4-0)
6. Kingdom of Congo Dirty Apes (4-0)
7. Somalia Warlords (3-1)
8. Barbary Coast Pirates (4-0)
9. Equatorial Guinea Experience (3-1)
10. StingTalk Yellow Jackets (3-1)

This is majorly opinion based. I took a look at record + strength of schedule (overall ratings), I did not take offense/defense rank into account, that'll probably be further down the road.

Its so weird seeinv WNVs defense ranked above our Offense. We've always had a less-than-perfect defense but an amazing offense. Looks like things have changed

yeah, EGE would rather be under the radar too - Swaziland should be ranked above us - they whipped our butt like the Apes are going to on Sunday.

I was going to ask how EGE would be on there and not the Mambas when we killed them.

I have figured out half the ranking formula!

Offense: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_stats.pl?league_id=87&conference_id=0&stat=other&sort=points_scored&playoffs=0

Defense (best at bottom, worst at top): http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_stats.pl?league_id=87&conference_id=0&stat=other&sort=points_allowed&playoffs=0

Now for the opinion based rankings...

thanks for the write-up, Flu.

I'm just glad to see my team even mentioned in these rankings. Probably won't last too much longer as we face the best teams in the conference starting in a couple weeks. lol I honestly think Cape Town should be in our spot on the "Top 10" list.

I took the Mambas into consideration but they haven't really played a lot of high rated teams. EGE has had a tough opening schedule, are an A transfer and are currently 3-1, that means a lot. The Mambas haven't had huge blowouts against teams they out rate as well, so I didn't include them in the top 10 yet. Perhaps next week?

I know Cape Town's a great team. We've played them twice now, and they absolutely destroyed us in our scrimmage last season. However, in their only game against equal rated opponents, they lost to West Nile. I'm positive they'll be in the top 10 once things pan out this season.

Hell, Apes have a pretty heavy loaded second half of the season, I'm not so sure we'll be in the top 10.
